First off, the scheduling office is utterly useless and very disorganized. My primary doctor's office had to fax over my referrals 3 times before their office finally received them. Each of the three times, when I called to confirm them being sent, their office would make up these bizarre excuses and blame it on the primary. They would not do anything to remedy the situation at all, and would place all the blame on myself and the primary I use. Utterly Useless.
Then comes Dr. Cook. I wish I could write more about him, but I do not have much to write, as I only talked to him for a combined two minutes in two appointments. At my consultation I saw him for 30 seconds, he simply walked in and told me to go get another MRI and walked out. I am fine with him telling me this, I am not fine with the fact that he did not explain why I needed to do so. He does not explain anything. And when he does explain things it is in terms that none of us lay-man would know. I tried to get him to explain things to me in my follow up and its was like trying to pull teeth, me trying to get a simple explanation out of him. Talking to Doctor Cook is like talking to rock. This man has no personality and the Doctor's knowledge that he has, he has no idea how to communicate it to us patients so that we can understand it. I give Dr. Cook a fail rating. I will not be seeing him for any of my sports related injuries. My elder parents will not being seeing him ever again either, they agree wholly with my opinion. The sad truth, is that Dr. Cook is not fit to be seeing patients. He needs to be a lab experimenter or something. He needs a job where he doesn't talk to people and patients. Oh wait, he already has that. . . .
