I had paid him a large sum of money and he boutched my body up. I wanted a full tummy-tuck and body sculpture and spoke to him about the extra he left on me. My naval is not center-fold, I have to push the left-side of my belly over in order to walk. Aafter four years, I still have to hold my left side area and the extra fat is still there. I just returned from being overseas, again, and I want to go back to his office but I am afraid of him doing another precedure to correct his error. I only know that the pain and the constant reminder is always with me.

Seeing Dr. Smith was the worst mistake I've made. Another one of his colleagues will attempt to improve the unnecessary mess he left on my face. It seems it won't be the first time a colleague had to correct his mess. Dr. Smith has at least 30 years of experience and he should have known by now that all patients should be treated professional, but he obviously does not. In the 1980's, he left a woman he had done breast surgery on - vomiting and seeping at the incisions. He was in a hurry - he had no time to talk to her husband or see about her. A colleague, Dr Welch, saw to her. This woman went for years with ulgy purple raised two inch scars on each breast. In the 1990's, she had another colleague, Dr. Williams, remove the scars. This woman stated that she felt Dr. Smith had little knowledge or skill. In 2008, I went to see him - he was in a hurry something was more important than seeing the patient who had paid to be seen. I was never examined or consulted with - I was stupid to let this doctor do anything to me. There was nothing wrong with me and I'm sure he knew, but didn't care. He wanted to do a procedure he loves to do. It's a shame that a doctor would do a procedure that is not necessary. This doctor knows what a skin cancer looks like he has worked on people with skin cancers. Is he dumb? OR Is he money hungry? All of his colleagues would have known and surely they wouldn't have done a procedure just for money. Now my stupidity and his not caring will make another colleague richer. All your colleagues appreciate the business, but why do the patients that seek help to correct your messes have to suffer in the meantime. This doctor just does not care.

Pros: He's about to retire

Cons: has no time for the patient

A doctor that is suppose to have years of experience but can not tell a hair follicle from a skin cancer. He did a procedure that was not necessary on me and he is either the dumbest doctor around or a doctor who just did not care. His only interest is making money off of you. His practice says they have personal and private consultations, but that is not true. He does not have time to examine or talk to you much less to consult with you. Your personal and private consultation is between you and the computer. Yes, you have to to go on the internet to guess the mess he did on you. This doctor and his practice does not think it is important or necessary to inform the patient of the procedure, risks or aftercare. He thinks he is too superior to spend time with the patient. He is a big shot board member to the University Hospital. They approve of what he does and what he doesn't do! He is in leadership at this hospital, practice, and possibly the Augusta Laser. I know the Augusta Plastic Surgery are part owners of the Augusta Laser. They list only two of the three doctors of Augusta Plastic Surgery as owners. I wonder why that is so?? Must not want Randolph Smith associated with that business. I can see why! Go see a doctor who has interest in your welfare and not his!

I have had to guess what was done to me, I do know it should have never been done. I recently e-mailed the website in hopes that one of the doctors would have the decency to finally after over a year tell me what was done to me, how it was done and why it was done on just a bump. A Sandy. Woodward called me. I was to meet July 21st with her and Dr. Smith, but July 16th they decided to not meet with me. I guess I will have to get my records. Dr. Smith, I know of people who have seen you and you are suppose to be a good doctor. Then why did you do me the way you did? Do you not care that you did a drastic procedure on me that was not needed? Do you think this procedure should be done on a person without their knowledge? Not only did you not tell me about this procedure before, but it's been over a year and I am still waiting to hear what you did? Am I a nobody? Just mess me up and hope I just disappear? Believe me I sometimes wish I was not around! But you owe me an explaination for why you did me the way you did. What happened? Do you hand pick the ones that you find deserving to be a professional doctor with? Do you not have a concious, feelings or morales? You must not because you would have gotten in touch with me, I should not have to ask for something that was what most doctors automatically did. But obviously you aren't like most doctors.
You do not make the decisions for the patient. It was the patient's face. Whatever was done would effect her and she needed to know what the plan was and she needed to have a say whether it was done or not. It is not your decision, but the patient's.
Now this doctor still won't tell me what was done to me. Is he just embarrassed and ashamed of what he did or didn't do? This is not the way a certified and professional doctor should treat their patient. Your partner, Dr. Ewart, says if you see a certified doctor you will be assured of a competent and safe doctor. I say this is normally true, but in my case what good is it if a doctor has his certification, but has no time or interest for his patients. The skill and knowledge is useless. I don't think it was competent or safe to do the drastic procedure he did on just a bump that would have disappeared. So Dr. Ewart, why does your own partner, Dr. Smith, have most of the things you look for in a doctor, but obviously is not safe or competent.
A doctor and a place is not always what they appear to be. You would think Dr. Smith and his practice would be a good choice to make, but people and places are not always as they seem. I found that out in a terrible way, perhaps you will be a lucky one and you will be one he chooses to be professional with. How come he can't treat all patients like he should with respect and interest in their welfare. Is there a reason or problem we need to know that would explain this? In the meantime, I hope he does not mess many other people up for no reason.
