This "Stat" Care is everything and anything BUT "STAT". There are alot of issues I'd like to address about this practice. UNORGANIZED STAFF...and they are not concerned with the best INTEREST of the patient-rather the BEST $$$ they can get out of you. When I first went here I simply told the receptionist that I had been coughing and having sore throat symptoms..Before even being seen they were adding up all these charges saying I needed a breathing treatment. The doctor (Raj Raval) acted as though he was helping me out by charging me $125 dollars and giving me a free antibiotic. I went home-and got 10 times worse. I developed a reaction to the antibiotic and stopped taking it..I called his office to tell him that I had an allergic reaction. One receptionist that picked up the phone said that it was no problem-they would see me at no charge and prescribe something for the reaction. 1 day later (TODAY) I went to the office-I waited for 2 HOURS!..and I was not the only one waiting: Another patient was sitting complaining about the wait--and she had been there way before me. She even began calling other offices to be seen due to the wait. Well not only did I wait 2 HOURS-I was then called up by the male receptionist who said I had a balance of $125 from my first visit-WHICH WAS NOT TRUE-I had the receipt saying I paid and he continues to tell me "Well you will need to take that up with out billing department"...THEN!-I was informed that I would have to pay an additional $75 dollars if I were seen by the doctor. The doctor even agreed to the fee. I thought it was ridiculous that he refused to see me for an ALLERGIC REACTION that I had because of the "FREE ANTIBIOTIC" that he felt was a money saver. I am ENRAGED that I had to wait 2 Hours-(a lady that came after me was called up before me)...but this is the best part of this horrific experience-I had to wait 2 HOURS for him to tell me to BUY SOME BENEDRYL..and if that doesn't work Go to the ER. He gives me this advice WITHOUT even seeing the extent of the reaction!..I had even called before hand to explain my reaction to the medication and they passed the phone around-NEVER to the Doctor..the male receptionist said he would give him the message--when I got there he said "Oh I haven't told him about you yet"...So apparently what I could have been told over the phone I had to wait 2 Hours and be treated as though I was not worthy of a check up..UNLESS I paid $75 dollars for it..P.S. I would not recommend this urgent care to anyone that has some "urgent" need..because believe me-unless urgent means 2 hours and some change it is not worth your time and money!
