I would STRONGLY recommend Dr. Rodrigue!! I also have a complex condition and he had been very aggressive as well as compassionate! And i can guarantee he IS UP FOR THE CHALLENGE! I'm a32yr old father of 5 that has RSD and thanks to Dr. Rodrigue i have hope! He keeps me positive and keeps leading me to the light at the end of the tunnel! He explains everything in detail and answers all my questions! And even though he is quarter back of my treatment he gives me all options and doesn't pressure me into anything. He truly makes me feel apart of my treatment plan! With all the war stories i hear from other RSD patients I'm truly blessed to have thus man behind me! THIS IS ONE AWESOME DOCTOR!!

I love Dr. Rodrigue and I've only seen HIM once. My other visits have been with PAs or NPs but they have all been very knowledgeable. When I met w/ Dr. Rodrigue, he acknowledged the complicated nature of my problem and noted that he would be happy to try to take care of me as best "conservative treatment" would allow. Mostly, I want to say that he seems very sincere in his willingness to help. I live with daily horrific pain but still have to raise and take care of 3 small children. He is sympathetic to this and doesn't just cast me off like my last drs did.

Pain management doctors see the worst of the worst. We are the ones that nobody else (ie other MDs) wants to take care of, or have cast off. I have read the reviews of this FANTASTIC doctor and I can honestly say that if you dont like him, good luck. If Dr. Rodrigue cant help you then nobody can. I saw the review written by the lady with headaches. Let me ask you this: did any of the dozens of doctors you saw before Dr Rodrigue help you? I figured not. The bottom line is that it doesnt get any better.

I have been going to Dr. Rodrigue for probably the last 4 years. My problem will never go away but he does everything he can to help relieve any pain I am having. He is probably the best doctor I have ever been to. He always answers my questions and I never feel rushed. Would recommend him to everyone.

I am glad that other people had a positive experiences with this man, but he was horrible to me and admitted it to my referring doctor. I was told that my medical condition was too complicated and therefore too much of a "problem," for him to deal with. I took this to mean he wanted to come in, say hi, write a script and get out. Yes, I have a complicated condition, however it says on his website profile he is up for any challenge. Well, apparently not. When he came in to see me he was flirting, telling me how pretty my name was,and how pretty I was. After he looked at my history and how complicated my course of treatment might be, he literally began to pitch a fit. My mother had gone with me and we were both in shock. He was yelling at me, his nurse and stomping up and down the hallway. He screamed at his nurse to "Get me the hell out of his exam room because I wasn't worth the trouble." Even his nurse was embarrased when she came in to escort us out. Oh and get this--I paid a $30 copay and they refused to refund it.

I am a totally compliant patient, but I do have a difficult situation (which is why I went to Dr. Rodrigue) and it would take some brainwork to chart out my course of treatment. But to go as far as he did was pathetic. Dr. Rodrigue may be great with some patients, but he definitely left me with a bad taste. Good luck.

I was introduced to Dr. Rodrigue by my daughter who was and is his patient. I loved the aggressive way he treated her condition and listened to her. Since I have fibromyalgia I was looking for someone who would listen to me and treat my symptoms, which were many. Dr. Rodrigue always listens and cares about what I am feeling and he has tried many different procedures and techniques. Though I still have pain, he never gives up and takes it personally when something does not work. True, he is busy and it is sometimes difficult to get to see him but for me it is worth the wait. My son also sees him for neck pain and has been more than satisfied with his treatment.

Dr. Rodrigue is very compassionate and seems to really care, unlike so many doctors out there. He will listen to you and never tries to minimize what you are feeling. I can't say enough good things about him. His medical assistant, Liz, is wonderful also. I agree...the phone system is beyond annoying, but it's that way anywhere anymore. If you want the best pain management physician in Dallas, definitely see Dr. Rodrigue. He's very busy, but he's worth it!

I love this guy! I have been seeing Dr. Rodrigue for 10 years for back pain after back surgery. Over the years he has used different treatments ?? all which have been successful! With his help I have been able to live an active normal life! It is hard to find expert knowledge with compassionate care until you meet Dr. Rodrigue.

I have been going to Southwest Pain Group (part of Pinnacle Pain Medicine) for about seven years. I have degenerative disc disease and have two herniated discs. Spinal fusion is not an option for me, so I am on pain medication management until there is another surgical option available. The staff at each of their offices are all professional, courteous, and they care about me as a person. The doctors and nurse practitioners are patient, kind, and knowledgeable, and whether you just need a medication refill, or if you want to alter your medication or discuss alternate treatment options, they always give you their full attention. Most of your medical records are kept electronically so they can quickly see what medications have been prescribed, so if you just have a medication refill, they can process that quickly and easily. They have offices in Dallas, Plano, and Frisco. Two of the doctors have been selected as Best Doctors in Dallas several times each by D Magazine. If you are looking for a pain management doctor, as an established, long-term patient, I highly recommend Southwest Pain Group.

Helene is a nurse practioner at SouthWest Pain group and I love her to death! She spends time listening to me and does not ramble on and on without letting me speak. She is very understanding, very patient, she is a real person and shows that side of her. Helene does not make me feel like my pain is all in my head nor does she treat me like I am a drug addict. She understands and believes me. She does not give me any special treatments except for the fact she listens!!! Helene shows concern for her patients and she is AWESOME!!!!

I love Dr. Rodrigue, although I have had a lot of trouble getting in to see him. His office is very busy, and I always get put in voicemail when I try to make an appointment. I have seen his nurse a couple of times, and him a couple of times for cortisone in my back. I am still having a lot of pain, but I am not giving up on this Doc! He offers many pain relief ideas. When I wake from the shot procedures, I am usually feeling afraid and crying, (a weird side effect from the sleep meds) and his nurses are comforting and sit with me until it wears off. I recommend him highly!

I am 39 and have had back pain for years, and my family doctor sent me to a back surgeon. Mistake! I was WORSE after my back surgery. My back surgeon sent me to see Dr. Rodrigue after my pain was not better. Nice guy. took time to explain things to me. The guy has been in D Magazine, and trained at Mayo Clinic, yet he was very down to earrth, did not talk down to me. His assistant was awesome, and his treatments included special pain blocks, epidurals and medications to help my pain. On the negative, their phone system has those annoying voice mail boxes, but I guess that is common now adays. I am not cured, but a lot better. I wish i had skipped the back surgery. Dr. Rodrigue is great. A little busy, kinda hard to get into, needs better phones, but worth the wait.

Got a coccyx injection 2 weeks ago and have vaginal numbness. Physician, although friendly enough, diverted my route of concern to other bizarre possibilites other than the obvious possibility that his needle distrupted and possibly damaged nerves. Looking for a lawyer currently to discover my options. In the meanwhile, this doctor, told me it could be a gyn tumor!! He told me to find out what is wrong, but is taking zero responsibilty for the obvious. Very slick.

PROS: Nice Staff
CONS: Vaginal Numbness
