Dr. Balderston operated on my twice back in 1993 and 1995 for posterior spinal fusion to correct a significant scoliosis. He has a very quiet, confident, respectful demeanor and he is one of the most intelligent physicians I have ever come across. He has a kind and gentle bedside manner and he came to see me every day in the hospital following both surgeries. The surgery recoveries were excruciatingly painful - it took months to get back to 50% and about 6-10 months to feel 100%. He completely uderstood and had compassion for what I was going through and he assured me that there would be brighter, less painful (and painfree!) days to come. And he was right. I am 16 yrs post-op and aside from an occasion ache and pain from a strained muscle, I feel great. I owe it all to him. He is the most wonderful doctor and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who needed corrective spinal surgery. He's the best.

Dr Balderston is an awesome spine surgeon. He is well known and considered and expert in is field. He also will not cut you if he doesnt think he can help you which is a great find in a physician. They dont take any of the medical assistance plans but if you have BC/BS you are golden.
