.

I have had a chronic ear issue for over a year now. I had high hopes when one year ago, Jan 2006 I saw Dr. Johnson. At first it seemed my problem had been solved, but I soon found out it had not.

Every time I tried to see Dr. Johnson, I was told it would be at least 2 weeks until I could get an appointment. I would explain that my ear was draining, there was debris, reduced hearing and ringing. Time and time again I was told it was not urgent. I once was put off call after call for a month to the point my ear canal was completely swollen shut. By the time Dr. Johnson saw me, he couldn't do much because of the condition of my ear. Again I was sent home without resolution.

Unfortunatly this type of treatment proved to be the norm for me. After one year of treatment with Dr. Johnson and multiple ear infections later, I requested to be seen by another doctor in the practice. With an ear infection in full progress, I made the request and was denied. I spoke with the office again and tried to explain my reasoning and concerns and again requested to be seen for a second opinion. Again I was denied.

So, here I sit with an ear infection in full swing for almost three weeks now and I can't be seen by the doctor that I am requesting to be seen by. When did I give up complete choice and control of my own health care? After my terrible experiences, I would NOT recommend Sac ENT to anyone.
