Breast Cancer runs in my family on both sides so when my Mammo @ age 34 came back 'suspicious' my obgyn referred me to Dr. Steinbruck. In the past 3 years I have had 2 surgerys & several office visits & I am very pleased w/ his judgement & professionalism. He is both humble & brilliant. I feel confident that my health is in good hands as long as I am a patient of Dr. Steinbrucks. I have nevefr felt like I need a second opinion. I wou;ld reccomend him to ANYONE, ANYTIME. Thank you & good luck

Dr. Steinbruck did an excellent job in dealing with an extremely unusual intestinal condition I had developed. He performed my surgery, and he and his staff performed wound care and follow-ups after surgery. He is an extremely busy doctor, so it was sometimes difficult to get a hold of him, but I found he had an excellent bedside manner, was extremely knowledgeable, and did a masterful job in dealing with an extremely rare condition (an acute presentation of a strangulated Meckel's diverticulum, for a patient in his mid-20's with no history of gastrointestinal problems). He performed the surgery in a way which, according to all advice I have since received, minimized the risk of complications and maximized the degree of recovery. This happened three years ago, and I have been completely pain- and symptom- free since then, and have resumed all my normal activities with no limitations whatsoever. Dr. Steinbruck is an excellent surgeon.

Dr. Steinbruck was very demeaning and rude to us. He acted as if he did not care about his patients once he had received payment for a patient's surgery. In a follow up visit, he blew off my father's complaint of pain as if it was nothing, without even conducting an examination. Of all people, a doctor should know that people have different levels of tolerance for pain and what may be minor to one patient can be an excruciating pain to another. Aren't doctors trained to provide whatever medical help is needed to see that a patient is as comfortable as possible and pain free? If he couldn't treat my father, he should have referred us to another doctor. We also had a problem with Dr. Sabido that he is associated with. I would not recommend either of these doctors to anybody. When people do not feel well, they want a caring physician who has their best interests in mind. That is absolutely not the case with Dr Steinbruck.
