I can't recommend Dr. Wupperman highly enough. I needed a very complicated spine surgery, and I guess Dr. Wupperman is the only doctor in Austin who can do it. I was originally seeing another spine surgeon who referred me to Dr. Wupperman for the particular surgery I needed.. I noticed a difference immediately. Dr. Wupperman is kinder and listens more than any other doctor I've had, especially any other surgeon. And his surgery skills are exceptional. I was in surgery for several hours, but my recovery time was amazingly short. I am now pain free, and I can be more active than I've been in at least a decade. I am grateful that I was referred to Dr. Wupperman. (He is also funny and good-looking, but that's not why I wrote such a positive review. He really deserves it.)
***He's no longer at the location listed here. He's in Lakeway at Austin Spine. Worth the trip!

Dr. Wupperman is my hero! I've had severe back and leg pain for years, unable to walk more than a couple blocks at a time. After trying physical therapy, he did a 1.5 hour surgery (XLIF and nerve decompression). By 2 weeks post-op I felt great! I'm walking up to 5 miles at a time now. I have my life back!

Dr. Wupperman has great bedside manner. He is kind (and funny). He answers all my questions patiently.
