This office was completely unprofessional. I am a stay at home mom and do not have family in this area, when contacting the office regarding scheduling an appointment I told the staff that I had a child that would need to come with me, and was informed that as long as young children are in a stroller it would be fine. I scheduled an appointment, arrive and they start the exam, take x-rays, blood pressure and the Dentist came in. But a few minutes later I was told I needed to leave because my child was upsetting people. Now I cant go get a proper dentist visit since they started the exam and likely will bill my insurance even though I did not receive the services I came in for.

Dr. Barbaro is the best dentist I have ever seen! He is kind, caring, and knowledgable.I actually look forward to going to the dentist now, how many people can say that?

My dentist visit was fantastic! Both he and his assistant were lovely and made me feel very comfortable. I am a military wife as well with 3 children all under the age of 5 but honestly you need to make arraingments for someone to take care of them before you go to the dentist. They have lots of childcare options on post some are even free. The dentist wants to give you his full attention on your visit and that would be pretty impossible with a screaming child.

When we moved to Fayetteville, I hadn't been to the dentist in YEARS! I hated going and every visit was uncomfortable. A friend convinced me to try Dr Barbaro and he was incredible! The dental hygienist was kind, sweet, and caring. She explained what she was doing (like, "I know it feels like I'm pulling this tooth out but you have some tartar really stuck here that needs to come out if we can get it.") and let me know as she was getting closer to done. A couple of times when I've taken my children (who are old enough to sit quietly), the staff allowed me to take them back with me and showed them where to sit in the room so they wouldn't be in the way. Dr Barbaro is an older Italian guy, so he naturally touches your shoulder from time to time as he works and asks if you are okay. He took occasional breaks in a longer filling process so I could rest my jaw and relax for a moment. A sweet man. I still don't enjoy the dentist, but at least I don't hate going any more.

I drove 45 min to my first appt. here. Once I got there, toddler in arms, with no child care available....I was taken back to a room where I met the dentist for my exam. Startled by the whole experience, my daughter began to cry when the chair was leaned back. The dentist sat me back up, put his fingers in his ears, and asked me didn't I have somewhere I could leave her to come in for this appointment. He then told me to reschedule when I had child care and he left the room. I realize that it is not easy to do a dental exam with a baby crying, just as it is not easy for me to be a military wife, with two children, one that I have to take with me, and still take care of myself. Thanks so much to this office for making me realize in the beginning that this was not the place for me...I am a mother first, and I have my responsibilities. Which do not include plugging my ears with my fingers. I would like to add, that my sons dentist, Dr. Ravel has been wonderful each time I have taken him in. I wish it was not because of the juvenile behavior of his associates that I had to cancel any further appointments.
