Dr Risos was very friendly. I went to for a 2nd opinion because I did not trust what my dentist in Bonita had recommeneded.

Dr. Risos really took the time to explain my different options, and her prices were much more

Oh WOW! I was there today too! I was told I needed MUCH work as well! The doctor told me about one particular tooth-the one I'd broken and KNEW needed attention. Otherwise her assistant told me I needed many other visits to have work

I had not been to the dentist in years so honestly I didnt know what to expect. I was referred to this office by an employee from The Super Dentist in Eastlake.
I will get straight to the point. I sat in a seat to have my molers pulled for 3hrs! I was also told that I needed some emergency work done because I had a disease in my mouth! I was so overwhelmed with all the work done. Being that I hadn't been to the dentist in years I felt it was normal for flossing to feel torturous even though I dont feel that when when doing the floss work myself. I cried when I was done. I cried even more when I seen the outrageous bill.
The second time around was to have my impacted molers removed. I had a baby 3mo prior and even took my husband on the visit so he could make it crystal clear that we were only allowed $1,000 a year per family member. we signed a form showing the cost would be 1200.00. $200 over was okay. the work once again was torturous and dr. risos even had to call in another dentist to finish the work. she is extremely rough!
i referred my sister to dr. risos still thinking it was my fault for not seeing a dentist in years. my sister said something didnt feel right and that it hurt just when dr. risos flossed my sisters teeth. she said she was rough. then dr. risos informed my sister that she needed a root canal! my sister wanted a 2nd oppinion and sure enough my sister called me furious telling me that dr. risos is a rip off! the other dentist my sister visited informed her she absolutely did not need a root canal and that her fillings would just be changed. my sister said she didnt feel a thing and only had slight discomfort with the numbing process.
i thought the nightmare was over until i received a bill under $2000.00! dr. risos said it was an estimated cost. she tried comforting my sister (after she called complaining) and myself with gift cards to albertsons and subway. the card that she sent to my sister for subway was for $25 but my sister discovered there was only $12 available when she went to use it! my sister went online where she seen other purchases were made on the card. basically dr. risos sent this card knowing only $12 was available. CHEAP CHEAP MONEY HUNGRY DENTIST. SHE ABSOLUTELY IS MISLEADING AND IS UNPROFESSIONAL. SHE COULDNT EVEN REMEMBER TELLING MY SISTER THAT SHE NEEDED A ROOT CANAL AND BLAMED HER ASSISTANT. SHE TOLD MY SISTER SHE WAS READING HER ASSISTANTS NOTES WHICH SAID ROOT CANAL WITH A QUESTION MARK NEXT TO IT. MY SISTER SAID, NO YOURE THE ONE WHO TOLD ME I NEEDED A ROOT CANAL AND I WATCHED YOU TAKE NOTES. RISOS WAS SILENT. PASS THIS DENTIST UP! i only clicked on a star because a rating is required!
