Dr. Replogle comes across as charming and knowledgeable. He sits down in the office and spends a good deal of time with you initially. However, in my case, post-surgery, I had a MAJOR scar tissue issue. I was abandoned by Dr. Replogle. Completely abandoned. I had no idea it was "scar tissue" - I as just in WAY more pain, for months, than before the surgery. When I met w/him and asked him why this could be, he smiled slyly and responded, "it could be a million things". He was a total ass. Did not even recommend P.T. I sought P.T. on my own after 3 months, and the (amazing) P.T. diagnosed my scar tissue (quite common, it turns out - Replogle no doubt knew what it was - but because he didn't use the new medicine available now during surgery to prevent it, he wouldn't admit it!) and helped me work through it.
Pompous surgeons do that, seemingly because they don't want the blame for anything going wrong. He see himself as perfect and godlike. He is an a*s. A total 100% a*s. His nurse, Fran, is likewise very friendly, but a decent surgical nurse would help patients more. In the end, when I asked, she is the one who recommended the P.T. I ended up seeing.
I would NEVER EVER recommend anyone see Dr. Replogle. It'll only be a good experience if everything goes perfectly.
