I agree with Bill and all my friends and business associates that see Dr. Resnik, he is a tremendous doctor. Yes the world of medicine has gotten computerized and physicians now must type our history into the computers rather than writing is down or dictating it. This can make the visit a bit more impersonal but this is the norm not the exception. Yes there have been load of articles including the USA Today about docs prescribing to many pain meds as several of the comments seem to be directed towards. I don't think it is a lack of sympathy I think it more someone who wants to make the best decision for the patient rather than just throwing out narcotics.

However make no mistake if you want a doctor that will see you in a timely manner and provide you with high quality care Dr. Resnik should be your number one choice. Through the years , he has never left me nor any of my friends that go to him suffer with pain . He makes appropriate treatment recomendations and as he as explained to me previously there is a data bank that monitors all these prescriptions so he has to make sure he is prescribing them for a valid reason. He listens, He has always made the right decisions for me. He is a wonderful physician and someone I would highly highly highly recommend without reservation.

Excellent physician his 20 years plus in Cary speak for themselves. I usually dont even read these sites but when I see that a select few who obviously dont' represent the tens of thousands Dr. Resnik has helped in this area I have to speak up. Yes there is going to be some patients that don't get what they want or don't agree with their diagnosis. However, we have to rely on the expertise of those trained to treat us. Dr. Resnik has provided top notch care to me an my family and my neighbors for years. Not one complaint. His staff is very efficient and he is one of the only docs that will make sure you are seen the same or next day from your call. He truly cares and is a great doctor. Some of these comments seem to be from individuals that dont have any thing better to do than complain.

Wow, is all I have to say. The year I have had is unreal. Thank God I am not living with a terminal illness and my heart goes out to those who are. But at 26 years old my spine was fused with 2 titanium rods and 14 screws, 4 weeks later after being released to drive I was hit in a car accident. I just went on trip to visit my fiance's father who resides in another country and his dying grandmother and had to cut the trip short due to my pain. I came to Resnik, to maybe take an X-ray and give me something for the pain The way he treated me with his back to his stupid computer and the words that came out of his mouth, like taking trips are reckless and looking at your documentation I don't know why you are in pain. REALLY??!! I wonder if his spine has ever been fused and his rib cage and organs moved all in a 4 hour time span. I don't know who the F raised him or where he got his manners from, but damn you don't need to work with the public. His office staff as well all seem like they are drugged up on valium. I was talking when the nurse just walked out to get her blood pressure machine. Worst experience ever and trust me I have had a few in my day. OH yeah Asshol* I am not a drug seeker and never have been. I am a girl who suffers everyday of her in pain.

Dr. Resnick had been my husband's and my primary care physician for close to 18 years. We trust him implicitly. He is professional and attentive and above all, he knows what he is doing. We highly recommend him. His entire staff is professional and caring. Dr. Resnick has a great practice. Looking over some of the reviews (mostly positive, I might add), I cannot believe we are talking about the same doctor! 18 years with him = lots of visits. Every one of them exceptional! Thanks for keeping us healthy, Dr. Resnick.

First off, hats off to the office staff and the nurses, because they're really nice. I just wish they were working for a better doctor.

I came in for a physical because I have had chronic fatigue and headaches. My blood was drawn to check for anemia and thyroid problems. My cholesterol came back a little high and Dr. Resnik chose to beat me over the head with this. He asked me if I ate a lot of red meat. I don't, and I said so. He looked at me like I was lying and just changed the subject.

I asked why I was tired, and he said he didn't know. My blood work was fine, so there was nothing wrong with me.

I asked why I was getting headaches. He instantly said, "Are you on birth control? Go off birth control. That's the first thing a headache specialist will tell you." That is NOT, in fact the first thing a headache specialist will tell you, because I've been to one.

I've been working on losing weight--I've lost twenty pounds in the last few months--but when I mentioned that to Dr. Resnik, he just said, "Well, you need to lose more."

Also when he asked me if I needed a Pap smear, he asked me if I was having any "female problems." What is that even supposed to mean? Yeah, I have lots of "female problems," doctor. I keep buying all these fancy hats and my husband's mad at me. Also my pearls keep falling off my neck when I try to vacuum in heels.

He was bad, but that was the last straw. I can't see a doctor who can't say a simple word like "period." Which I'm assuming is what he was getting at. I guess.

I agree w/other negative comments. Resnick does not listen at all. This time, I came in with everything on card so wouldn't forget, but he wouldn't let me get a word in edge-wise, talking while I talked. Didn't even listen to my lungs, despite history of pneumonia. Then prescribed a $90 med right after I told him (& put on chart) that I had bad reaction to it, AND hich interacts w/another med I take daily to be completely ineffective! The time before this, he prescribed 6 MONTHS worth of a highly addictive substance with known serious side effects, without first seeing how I tolerated it (other docs would only give me 6 pills at a time). He also told me I was only allowed "one complaint at a time"--which I've read he has said to others, and would also therefore prevent having a complete medical picture. I think it's time anyone who had problems with him to file a complaint with state Medical Board so THEY can get complete picture of him.

Terrible. Resnik is a hack and doesn't listen or simply doesn't care. Avoid avoid avoid. I almost died from the medication he prescribed which had nothing to do with my condition. Clearly he only pushes whatever the pharm rep is pedeling. The stafff. non-existent and rude. Sat there gobbling down the free food from the reps while I waited for almost an hour. Uggh.. Disgusted.

Dr.Resnick is a very warm and friendly Doc. He is someone that shots straight and gives you an honest answer. I'd wish he would spend a little bit more time with me but overall he is just a great guy. Can't complain - even though I go there cause I have an issue he's always got a smile and is polite.

My family has had the privilage of having Dr Resnick as our GP since we moved here 15 years ago. He is honest and to the point and truely cares for his patients. If you can't stand honesty but want to be pandered to don't go. I count my self very blessed to have had him instead of a pediatrician for my children especially when my son tested positive for TB. His staff is extremely caring and professional. Thank God for this practice.

Two words for Robert Resnik, MD - Abusive - Dishonest

Dr. Resnik is either delusional or dishonest. He has a very serious problem. He is a bully who has violated the Medical Code of Ethics on more than one occasion.

Dr. Resnik is a fantastic physician. He is caring considerate and wants to do the best for his patients. I have had nothing but a pleasurable experience at his office. His staff has been very courteous. I would recommend him without reservation. He has always shown the utmost in compassion. I have seen him for several years. Many of my neighbors have been seeing him for 15 years or better. If you have the choice, choose Dr. Resnik. You will not regret that decision.

Physician, heal thy self. Dr. Resnick would benefit from an anger (rage) management course. He is verbally abusive, and threatening without provocation. I would not recommend Dr. Resnick to anyone for any reason. His behavior is abusive, unprofessional, unpredictable, unreasonable, and extremely disrespectful. I hope he seeks professional help for his problems and stops bullying and taking his rage and frustration out on innocent patients.
