I don't believe the whole "Retard" comment in the prior review at all. I guarantee it never happened, they would have been fired on the spot. What is this Jerry Springer?
As far as prices go I think RJP has the best prices around by far. I have no insurance and the medication I take is less then half the price at RJ's then ANYWHERE else. That goes for any of the chain stores and even Wal Mart or the warehouse stores with pharmacies. I think they are a godsend that allow me to take my medication and pay the rent. Thank You RJP!

I think Robert Jacobsons in an amazing pharamcy. Whenever I go in there they are always polite and kind (especially those sisters in the front) They always have my medicine and get me out in a fashionable matter. I would recommend this pharmacy to anybody.

Thank god for Jacobsen's. the wait is never long and at least the pharmacist speaks English. And at least the counter is right there, unlike the laborious labyrinth you must traverse at CVS. I swear to god, you need GPS to locate the pharmacy at CVS and all those annoying old people waiting on line fighting over their copays and whining about minutiae Jacobsen's is the way to go. And by the way, do we really need TWO CVS stores in the same town? What dirty tactics trying to run small business out of town. I don't care if all the high school losers who only could get into WCC or (even worse, Pace) need a place to work, CVS is a soulless corporate entity that should perish in a pesky infestation of rats.

I brought my sister into Robert Jacobson's pharmacy for orthotic devices - my sister is diagnosed with cerebral palsy and requires a wheelchair for mobility.

The older lady with the european accent who works there saw us standing on line and scowled. I wasn't sure what to make of it, so I didn't say anything at first.

As we waited on line, she continued to shoot us the 'evil eye', finally prompting me to ask her if there was a problem.

She said, and I quote VERBATIM:

"Do you have to bring RETARDS in here?".

I was absolutely shocked, but I maintained my composure. I explained to her that my sister is NOT mentally retarded, she is simply confined to a wheelchair due to her cerebral palsy (she's currently working towards a college degree - she has a high IQ, very high functioning, just physically disabled from the CP)

The older lady made some kind of disgusted noise in response, and slinked off. She never apologized for calling my sister a "retard". When I asked to speak to the manager, a man with a blondish mustache / goatee told me that "he would talk to her."

I never got an apology. Nobody should ever call a customer a "retard", or insult somebody they don't know in a wheelchair.

I would not be caught dead going back to Robert Jacobson's pharmacy in Mt Kisco. I have never been more insulted working with "healthcare professionals." It's a shame too because they have a good selection of what my sister needed - but I will not tolerate being insulted in such a way.

Although Jacobson's is more expensive then other families, they always have any surgical or medical supplies in stock. They are also very knowledgeable and can offer useful advice. I definitely recommend going there, they will have all the items in stock.
