Dr Kotton came highly recommended with a great reputation and I was able to get an appointment to see him with my daughter. She immediately took to him and thought he was "cool" as he has a great bedside manner.

Dr. Kotton is our quarterback. After a single visit he has been able to bring a dozen doctors and plenty of therapists together on the same page to take care of our son. His assistant, Unise, is so helpful and patient. She sent us all the paperwork in advance so when we drove down from Bakersfield the appointment could be focused on problem solving and not taking a history. Cedars has never let us down. We are forever grateful for Cedars Sinia and Dr. Kotton for their medical expertise.

Dr Kotton is an amazing doctor!!! I am not big on writing reviews but really i feel that he exemplifies what a doctor should be. He was so thorough and made my mother feel comfortable and addressed issues we did not even bring up to him. I wish every doctor was like him.

My daughter took a pretty bad hit to the head in a soccer game after colliding with a teammate. Her neurologist cleared her and an MRI brain was normal but she still wasnt quite right and had a lot of difficulty concentrating at school, she felt dizzy, and had sleeping troubles. Our pediatrician referred her to Dr. Kotton for his expert opinion. Dr. Kotton explained to us that she had a concussion even though she didnt lose consciousness and even though the MRI appeared normal. He took the time to listen to us and performed a very thorough exam checking her balance and concentration. He followed Rebecca over the course of about a month and let us know when it was safe for her to return to sports. He called the coach and checked in with her athletic trainer to make sure she was doing okay. I felt that he really had our daughter's best interests in mind and had a good relationship with Rebecca. He was a former athlete himself and was able to relate to her on an athlete's terms which made it easier for her to listen to his advice. He is very down to earth and spoke to us on terms we could understand. He taught us about head injuries and what to look for if she ever had a similar injury again. Overall we were very pleased with our experience and will be sure to refer any friend of ours to his office at Cedars Sinai. Right now she is back to her usual self, getting ready for the Turkey Tournament.

Our son had paralysis of one side of his body after having a stroke making it difficult to walk, write, eat and talk. His intelligence was 100% preserved which made things even more frustrating and scary. Dr. Kotton has made this challenging journey more manageable and has informed us of the steps we needed to take to maximize Tyler's recovery. He followed Tyler throughout his hospitalization and has been instrumental in getting him the necessary therapy resources upon going home. He was very patient and informative and full of bright energy (and always wore very fun ties). I strongly recommend Dr. Kotton to anyone who is looking for a rehab doctor, "a physiatrist", a doctor that deals with improving function, not just disease. He's a great doctor who has a really big heart.
