Although I liked Dr. Gopaul, the people in the front office were atrocious! Getting a timely appointment was impossible, the triage nurse who booked appointments was rude and unsympathetic, and the practice was, in general, terribly overbooked. When I asked the office manager how they decided if they had as many patients as they could handle, I was told that they didn't turn away new patients. This place is a money-making factory. Stay away.

According to Current Procedural Terminology and the American Academy of Professional Coders, obstetrical services rendered to a patient are billed as a global obstetrical fee only if one physician provides total care for a patient. If the physician provides partial care, meaning the patient received part of their care from another physician, the charges should be billed as a non-global obstetrical fee. Physicians do not have a choice of what charges they submit to insurance carriers. Any charge that does not accurately describe what services were rendered is considered fraud. Greenbriar OB-GYN, PC strictly adheres to the billing policies set forth by the American Medical Association.

This is the worst ob-gyn practice that I have ever experienced. They do not acknowledge "their" patients then they charge copay to patients every time. They blame the insurance company but I talked to them and been told that it is the doctors choice of billing. The later doctor have no problem with universal billing and the insurance company had no issues with it. BE CAREFUL with their billing practices.
