If you need a neurologist that is knowledgable and sensitive this is the one, he really cares about his patients and he takes as much time as needed to attend to each one. His staff if also very helpful and they have appointments available sometimes on the same day, especially if you need to get in urgently. The parking at this office isn't great since it is located at a very busy hospital but it is worth the bother.

This doctor is brilliant, gifted, with a quiet, warm.friendly manner that inspires confidence, and trust. He is a natural healer with a gift of diagnoses. He is accessable and promply as possible returns calls evenon weekends if he feels it is necessary. His touch is gentle and he is thorough with examinations and listens to a patient`s symptoms. I wish all doctors were like him. I am so glad I am his patient.

Dr. Michael Seals is an excellent neurologist. He cares about each patient's concerns and needs. He actually LISTENS to his patients and spends as much time as necessary asking questions, listening to your questions and explaining test results. He is very punctual and does not keep you waiting in the waiting room for hours on end. I have never had difficulty reaching Dr. Seals when needing to make an appointment. His office is clean and his staff is accomodating.

I would recommend Dr. Seals to anyone in need of a excellent neurologist.

My first appointment with Dr. Seals was totally misleading. He came off as very thorough and kind and I didn't have to wait long to see him. Part of the front desk crew seemed indifferent and a little cold but I decided to give it another chance as I was mainly here to see Dr. Seals. After awhile, I became very frustrated with the rudeness and the apathy of the receptionists whenever I tried to reach Dr. Seals. I was very disappointed by the fact that Dr. Seals would never return my phone call during business hours and would call me after 5pm or sometimes not at all. I also found but never realized it at first that Dr. Seals seemed very incoherent in what he said to me regarding my diagnosis and, frankly, I felt like he wasn't "all there". I would not recommend anyone to this doctor or office. I feel that Dr. Seals would have a much better practice if he limited his number of patients and had a MUCH better staff.

I took my son to see Dr. Seals after his car accident. The app. was made the day after and the office staff was very professional. Dr. Seals office is very clean and we did not have to wait to see him. Not only was he extremely thorough , very warm and friendly, he also spent lots of time asking questions and explaining things. I am extremely pleased with him and will refer my friends and family.K.S.

This is not the only doctor that I have to see regularly, nor the only neurologist that I have seen. I think he is great. Spends plenty of time asking questions and plenty of time listening to your questions and EXPLAINING what all the test results mean to you.

Yes, his front office is as bad as any that I have EVER seen. The female at the front window is just plain scary if you have to ask a question. Yes, his office isn't very fancy...or really very spectacularly clean. Yes, his office is at the hospital and it is really really tough to park. You will always get to walk a long way if you don't valet park.

I will gladly put up with all of this in order to have a doctor that will spend the time with me that I would think it takes, especially on the first visit or two.

I get appointments quickly and am greeted in a friendly manner.

Pros: Intelligent competent doctor that spends the time to actually understand your medical situation.
Cons: Office is pretty poor and the staff is exceptionally awful.

I recently went to Dr. Seals. His staff is extremely quiet, not friendly and the receptionist acts as if she is stoned or hates people and life. The other girl, which I assume is the doctors assistant barely smiled and was reserved. I tried to smile and say Thank you and so on, but got nothing from these two. Dr. Seals was friendly, quiet mannered, but not very thorough at all. He kind of left it all up to me whether or not I wanted to be worked up further. He made light of my issues and offered me meds even though he had no idea exactly what my true diagnosis was. While we were talking, he got a phone call and asked me if it was ok if he took it, then after resuming, he asked if he could be excused to go to the bathroom. I could not believe the unprofessional manner of the doctor. My husband was livid about how I was treated and told him that he needed to do further workups to find out what was wrong. I am going back to the hospital tomorrow to get an EEG and hopefully other tests to help confirm a diagnosis. The only reason I am staying with him is to get these tests done and then get a second opinion. Steer clear of this neurologist.

I would like to share the difficulty I had. I was referred by my primary care physician for tingling in hand. I had difficulty making an appointment, staff was rude. I eventually made it to the doctor. It was poorly arranged office. I was not at all satisfied with the care.

Pros: None
Cons: Poor service.
