Excellent Doctor! Of utter caliber in his field, and not just because he is triple board certified, because he cares about his patients.
Dr. Semeniuk has truly saved my life. I had seen several doctors getting the run-around in trying to diagnosis what I thought maybe a stomach condition. Dr. Semeniuk was the only one who did thorough diagnostic testing and did not stop until he had an answer for me, he found my cancer which turned out to be "carcinoid syndrome." He was the only physician who listened to me and was relentless to help alleviate my symptoms. He has a compassionate bedside manner and always made me feel comfortable under the most difficult time in my life, he would take extensive time to explain the cancer to me and my husband and also the treatment.
The office is very streamlined and efficient, they have 3 offices for your convenience and a private infusion center, which is clean and doesn't have that "hospital" feel to it (sterile and cold). The nurses there are very knowledgeable in their field and will spend as much time needed for patient teaching.
Hands down the best Doctor ever, he saved my life.... I am 9 years out from my cancer diagnosis and am living a very active life and enjoying my children and wonderful husband.
Kudos, Dr. Semeniuk, your amazing!

I had a cancerous tumor in my throat that he ignored for TWO years. During that time, he had an ultrasound report from Hoag that Dr. Seneniuk disregarded. I finally read the ultrasound report myself, which said "suspicious for cancer, highly recommend follow-up." Dr. Semeniuk still said it was nothing. I had to take matters into my own hands and I went to UCLA, where they removed it one week later, and to no surprise, cancer! With a follow-up scan, it was obvious that the radiologist had made a mistake reading my scan. I requested a re-read, and Dr. Semeniuk refused. I finally had to pull the "I'm a lawyer, now re-read it" card, and yes, not only had the radiologist missed several masses in my lungs, he had read it backwards (i.e. left was right; right was left) which, if not corrected, would have made comparison with the next scan impossible. Dr. Semeniuk never apologized, never mentioned it. The last straw was when (after being his patient for nine years), I went on changed insurance and I had a few days where the new insurance had not kicked in yet. Despite the fact that my new insurance would have been retroactive to the beginning of the month, Dr. Semeniuk refused to see me until the forms were processed. This happened right in the middle of tests from Hoag. He also refused to give me copies of the tests until after I saw him (which he would not schedule until after my insurance forms were processed, of course.) So I had to go to Hoag to get them myself. Its bad enough when all the doctor cares about is the money. It??s horrifying when he continuously misdiagnoses you, refuses to question an erroneous report, refuses to treat you, and cares nothing about your health. Hello UCLA!
