I must say I'm surprised by the other positive reviews. I did not have a good experience. I've never written a review, but since I'm now researching other doctors, I thought it would be helpful to others to post my experience.

Just to give you a visual picture, the office is very small. No parking except on the street. About nine chairs in waiting room, so I felt like I had little privacy while filling in the personal information on the forms. When I went, there was one doctor, one nurse and one girl at the front managing my forms, she is also the one who set my appointment, and gave my baby his immunizations. Only two exam rooms with old, very cheap equipment. None of this would matter if I felt the medical attention was good.

I initially scheduled the appointment for my 2 month old to have his well-baby visit and to receive immunizations, but was worried my oldest boy, 2.5 years old, might have the chicken pox. The staff was very kind to fit in my older son at the same time.
The nurse checked both children's temperature, (with digital thermometers that take at least 2 minutes to get a reading) anally for my infant, which I suppose is accurate, but very uncomfortable and unnecessary, and in the armpit for my toddler (took a long time-very uncomfortable for a 2 year old).

The doctor did a quick exam on my infant, and it wasn't until a couple days later when telling my dad about the whole experience that I realized that I didn't see Dr. Sethian check my infant's heart with a stethoscope. Now, I don't know if I was just looking at my toddler, or putting papers in my bag, and missed it, or what, BUT, even if I did, that was extremely fast, and it just so happens that my infant has a slight heart murmur (diagnosed by our old Pediatrician just before moving here). So Dr. Sethian missed it. That's a pretty important thing to miss. There is a slight possibility that the murmur has gone away, but very disturbing.

He then checked in my toddler's mouth to see if there were any signs of chicken pox there. But he seemed a little insensitive to my two year old. He didn't explain anything before putting the popsicle stick thing in his mouth, he simply said "Just open your mouth, just open your mouth, just open your mouth." Not very kind, ya know?

Also, he seemed a little bit rushed to get out of there. I had to ask for him to come back into the room in order to ask one more question. I asked about how my infant's head is flattening. He said it will correct itself. Then paused and asked why I was worried about it (this was good). I said I had seen some babies who wore helmets to correct this kind of thing and was just wondering a little bit about it. He said that was for a different condition where the skull is soft like a ping-pong ball, and to his knowledge, helmets were not used for this kind of thing. Well, I'm 99% sure that my neighbor's child had to wear a helmet because his head was flattening too severely on one side. So, that makes me think, Dr. Sethian isn't completely up to date on the more recent practices. I can appreciate that he doesn't try to find things wrong so that he can bill more, but overall, I don't trust him with my children's health, and I will not be going back.

The two times I have gone, the staff have been rude and act like they don't care. The place smells like disease and the floors are dirty but they are fairly cheap.

The worst ever.

PROS: Cheap
CONS: You might catch something and pooly educated doctors, rude staff.

I have been going to Dr. Nubar for years. He is a really good doctor. I get the best care. I have always been able to get in to see him on short notice. His staff is friendly and helpful. His patients can be kids or adults. He deals well with both.

This is the best doctor I have ever had. He has been our family physician for years and he is trustworthy and kind. That is the type of attention I need in a doctor! He talks clearly to all people regardless of their age and makes them understand what is going on when it is happening.
Thank you Dr. Sethian!
