This doctor is a horrible person to children. I know her husband whom is quite the opposit. When I was younger I was put into a room with her a couple of times. While in the room she made me talk, but didn't listen and asked me very specific questions- such as "What do you love about your home?"- I told her that I loved this little area where the trees overlapped each other, and you could see all of the wind blowing, but couldn't feel it because it sounded beautiful- and she in told told me parents ( I was just there for ADHD) that I had an attachment disorder and only cared about materialistic things, not humans. She made my parents feel as though I didn't love them. This ruined me, because they trusted her, since we've known her husband for so long, and he is so wonderful. She starred at me a lot and wasn't kind. She spent all of 6 minutes with me most of the time and spent the rest of the time writing in her book. Finallly now I have grown up, and am an adult. I woke out of bed and all of these memories came back into my head and decided to finally post them. I will never forgive her for what she did to me, as it carries a scar. Nothing she told them was true, and she was supposed to be there to help me, - I was just a very hyper child, and (this was more than 14 years ago) but I am now 28 years old and am completely neuro typical.
I just don't believe that parents should ever take their children to her, as I was the child once, and she just makes a diagnosis that is with the times- not caring about how bad it destroys our lives if she gets it wrong. I also think that she is money hungry, and has been completely desensitized. I can't imagine how awful she is more than 14 years later.- Doctors should care about their patients.. at least enough to not ruin their lives for the next 15 years.
:(
Now again, her husband is a wonderful doctor.. - she is just an out of touch "business" woman.. without perhaps a heart.
