My daughter had visited this practice (Manassas OBGYN) since September 2010 and when I find out , I immediately asked her to swicth to PW OBGYN. First few visits with Manassas OBGYN was a dissapointment and a bad experience for a FIRST time mom. She finally got her first visit with PW OBGYN today and she received a warm reception by PW OBGYN. At the same time, she received bad news that was withheld and overseeing by Manassas OBGYN. She had an abnormal PS and was never told by her former OBGYN Dr. McCue nor he recommended a bacterial antibiotic to take as she had a UTI since November. Today, she visited PW OBGYN and she was happy to know that she would be taking care but disapointed that she was neglect by her former doctor/practice. I have known Manassas OBGYN (physician reputation) and this is not the worse but a total disapointment and neglect. I asked my daughter to continue visiting PW OBGYN if she wants GOOD care and FRIENDLY services. With exeption of Dr. Dehal, I have never like Dr. McCue deemenor towards patients and his discontent for some (single females mother's). He is not wam and compassionate but cold and narrow. I don't recommend Manassas OBGYN (with exeption of Dr. Dehal). Please research you OBGYN as you are paying for there services not them. As a first time Mother , you want the best of care possible and a remarkable experience and not criticism or bad attitude from a cranky doctor. I am a mother of 4 and soon to be grandmother and I have use PW OBGYN and would always speak highly of them as a former patient.

This practive delivered both of my children. The doctor's have been very friendly, respectful, and easy to talk to. They have always answered all of my questions and I have never felt rushed in any office visit. I did have an issue with both children regarding the billing for services. When my first child was born, my insurance was billed using the incorrect code. We received bills from the billing department for hundreds of dollars and literally had to argue with the unfriendly billing group to get this corrected. When our second child was born we again were billed for hundreds of dollars in services. This took several phone calls to correct and was very stressful. Overall I really like this office but wish I didn't have to deal with the stress of the billing department.

I found this practice after becoming pregnant with my second child. All of the doctors have been great - but I am not one of those preggos that wants a lot of hand holding anyway :) Dr. Dehal is my favorite - she is smart, explains things and always keeps my stress to a minimum, unless there is a MEDICAL need to worry. The one thing I have noticed about this practice is that they love to send you to specialists. I believe they are just trying to give business to their buddies because I saw 3 specialists during my pregnancy - and none of the specialists ever found a problem. Finally, towards the end I just told them I'm not going to see anyone else except the doctors in this office.

I am shocked to read some of these reviews. I have been going to Manassas OBGYN for over 10 years. The doctors and staff are very professional, respectful and knowledgeable. The doctors are top doctors and took great care of me during my recent pregnancy and delivery.
I feel bad that others haven't had the experiences that I have had but I cannot say enough great things about this practice and highly recommend them.

I came to Manassas OB-GYN after I found out I was pregnant from a date rape. It was already an awful time for my family but they were able to see me quickly. I really liked the physicians.

The waiting room was spacious, the office staff scheduled me quickly and Dr. Wall was compassionate. He even did an intervaginal ultrasound right away so we could date the pregnancy. I got the impression he would have done anything we needed.

However, Dr. Wall performed a blood test for Herpes because my husband requested it. Turns out, you should never have a blood test for herpes if you're not having symptoms because the test is confusing. But they didn't tell us that so we didn't know, and we had the test and I received a call from Valerie the OB nurse (Who is not even an RN, she's an LPN) telling me over the phone that I had Herpes and she was going to call in the prescription for Valtrex. I was devastated and horrified that the rest of my life was going to be even more painful. I had to tell my husband and the person who had raped me and the next two weeks of my life were the worst of my life. Even worse than finding out I was pregnant after date rape.

Turns out, Valerie the LPN didn't know what she was talking about. She had misinterpreted the results. Dr. Wall explained it to me later when I insisted I talk to him rather than her. I told her about this and she didn't apologize, she said "that's what the results usually mean." She was WRONG and so unapologetic. My husband and I will never have those 2 weeks of our lives back and she was so uncaring about it.

She also later told me there is no way to have a paternity test until after a baby is born. She was wrong about that too.

When you are pregnant and calling an OB office, you usually end up talking to the OB nurse. The OB nurse is a crucial part of any OB practice and of your experience as a pregnant woman. DO NOT go here if Valerie is still the OB nurse!

I ended up switching to another practice that was much more educated and helpful and respectful.

All of the Doctors at Manassas Ob-Gyn are wonderful and the nurses & staff have always been helpful and courteous. Dr. Dehal delivered our son in 2006 and she was wonderful. I am expecting #2 this summer and I will be happy to have any of the doctors on call for delivery. If you are pregnant (or not) and looking for a doctor, this practice comes highly recommended!

While pregnant you will meet up with all doctors so they at least have some knowledge of who you are, should they be the one to deliver your baby; which is fine. The doctor's are knowledgeable and thorough without imposing much.
The administrative staff however, seem to operate on a different customer service standard. I never know what to expect from them. One day they are nothing but professional and courteous and yet the next day you leave the office crying b/c a member of the admin staff is blatantly disrespectful. No woman, (pregnant or not) should have to deal with that. Don't expect much so you won't be disappointed if are treated with disrespect or you could be pleasantly surprised. Either way you're ready.

I love these doctors! Dr. Gonzalez is the star doctor in that office and you can tell by the waiting list he has to get to see him. I was so fortunate to have him deliver my second child. He was nothing but laughs and caring the WHOLE 12 hours he worked with me to deliver. No C section unless totally necessary with him. Get in line, because he is worth it. Thanks Dr. Gonzalez!

PROS: Dr. Gonzalez!!!
