I loved the office! I had not been back for a couple of years but I saw alot of new friendly faces. I thought the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. I only waited 20 minutes which in my experience was fairly quick. I went in for a mole that appeared to be abnormal. It was biopsied and thank goodness was benign. I'd like to thank Dr. Santiago Centurion for taking good care of me. I would recommened this practice.

I have been a paitent of Dr. Stanely Schnall for years since i was about 3 or 4. I had one of the worst cases of Eczema . I was bloody from head to toe. My mother had no clue what to do after going to several doctors she finally came here. Even though it continued to be bad we were at least able to find out how to control it and ease the pain, and also get it to the point where I would no longer have open wounds from this skin problem. I continue to go to this doctor however do not have to go as often as I did when I was little. This was the only doctor who was understanding and willing to explain things to my mother who did not understand well as she came from a foreign country. when I first became a patient he took pictures of my skin so we can see the progress and let me tell you, still till this day he pulls that picture out and says " Do you remember when it was this bad". Now not for nothing yes doctor Schnall is a lot older than he used to be and maybe not as consistant with explaining, but come on do not say he is a bad doctor. Also the staff is not bad at all very professional, and like a few comments above they aren't there to do the happy dance. I love the way that some people will complain about waiting in a doctors office for 20 to 30 minutes, but yet they will wait in line at a Fast food restuarant for 30 min to get a burger. You want to complain about something complain about how much BS you deal with on a day to day basis, not waiting a little longer in a doctors office. Did you ever think that maybe the reason why it is taking longer is because they are explaining to someone their condition? Maybe that is why he doesn't explain to some people anymore because of the fact of people like you are complaining on waiting for a little while.

I was seeing Dr. Schnall for eczema...he was never interested in finding out a cause for it, only in getting me out of the office. Next time I ended up seeing Iris Dubetsky; while I had requested an appointment with the doctor and don't feel they should make appointments with others without letting me know, I found that she was willing to talk to me and do skin tests to try to find out the problem...probably since she wasn't in a hurry to go run off to the next Botox patient like the doctor. I always made my appointments with her after that, I don't care that she's not a doctor, she was more willing to help me than the doctor was. I've had a horrible time trying to make an appointment, though, they usually tell me 3 weeks even when I show them that my hands are all bandaged because the eczema is that bad. They've told me I can call them every single day in the meantime to see if there is a cancellation. They can't find any of my records prior to a couple of years ago, although I've been going there since 2004, and when I asked for a copy of my records to go somewhere else, they gave me one page of pretty much nothing.
To the one who says "STOP COMPLAINING"...hello...that's what reviews are for, to express the bad as well as the good. A rude, incompetent office staff makes for a bad experience, and there are SO MANY doctors in this area that there is no reason to tolerate it.

I brought my daughter to him with lumps on her legs that formed to a white head and I told him that she was previously diagnosed and treated for Cellulitis/Staph Infection about 2 months prior. He told us what she currently had was irritation to razors and that she was over shaving. We switched to Nair but it continually spread so was obviously not caused by the razor. I brought her to another Doctor and she was diagnosed with Staph Infection and is now on Antibiotics. I will never go to this Doctor again. Staph is deadly and we alerted him of her having it previously, that should have been a red flag.

Dr. Schnall is world class Dr. with decades of experience and is always up on new technologies and treatments. He makes me feel at ease and gives me his personal attention without ever feeling rushed. Never have I been laughed at or dismissed because problem seemed "insignificant" to the Dr.. I've been to countless Dr.s before Dr. Schnall so I speak from experience. I waited a week for my appt. thats not so bad!
And no the staff did not do a happy dance for me but they were not rude.

The office staff is incredible rude and unprofessional. I had a horrible experience with them and would NOT recommend them to anyone. There are other dermatologists in the area!!! My appt. was changed the week before which was okay but then they changed me from seeing the doctor to the PA. I was never informed of this. Then after waiting for 30 minutes with my baby , they called me up to the window and said they need to reschedule my appt!!!!! It was already 30 minutes passed my appt time and NOW they told me to reschedule. UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

Since Dr. Schnall is incredibly rude, as is his office staff, I prefer to see Iris, his physician assistant. I do believe however Iris is performing procedures the Medical Examiners Office of NJ would find a serious violation. So beware. I am surprised Dr. Schnall would put his practice in jeopardy like that.

I used to live right off Throckmorton lane and went to Dr. Schnall in 1982/83. I had very bad acne and this was at a time when there wasn't really any options around. I remember I used to go once a week and he would pick and pop all of my pimples and then I left with a perscription of Retin A. Let me tell you - these treatments sent my life in a different direction! My face cleared up great and I have never had an issue since. I remember my face burning for the first few days but no other issues. Thank you Dr. Schnall!! Whatever you did, you cleared up my acne and I am forever greatful!

I was looking for a new dermatologist in Old Bridge, and I found Dermatology Associates on-line and was very very surprised at the reviews, because of my situation I decided to give a call and I got an appointment three days after my call and they were POLITE and was PROFESSIONAL over the phone. On the day of my appointment the staff was polite and very professional, and, I waited twenty minutes to see the doctor. The doctor spent time/asked and answered all my questions, they did not ask me to purchase "their" products.

A doctor's office is not a place to socialize or a place for a tea party, the staff are not there to entertain the patients. When you visit a doctor's office, sometimes one may have more complaints than others or some people just take a while to explain their problems, which takes time.

SO STOP COMPLAINING -THE STAFF ARE NOT PAID TO ENTERTAIN THE PATIENTS.

Dr Schnall has been my dermatologist since I was 14 and I'm now in my late 40's. I drive 1 hour back to my home town to see him when I can go to anyone locally.

I would highly recommend Dr. Schnall. He is one of the most knowledgeable dermatologist in this state and has a wonderful reputation amongst his peers. He will tell it "like it is" and I always appreciate his candidness, honesty and integrity.

I brought my 10 year old to him when 1 school nurse and 2 local doctors mis-diagnosed a skin rash and prescribed the wrong topical cream. He knew what it was right away and cleared it up in days.

When visiting Dr Schnall give your self enough time. He's very popular and extremely busy and you tend to wait a while to see him.

Dr Schnall is very competent and knowledgeable but rude. He really tried to push botox on me and I was only 32 yrs old and definitely did not need Botox. He also pushes his own creams and cleaners which are very expensive. Iris the PA is very nice. She give away loads of stuff for free. The staff is very rude. I was once 10 minutes late for an appt. with Iris and arrived to find the office locked and the lights out. Normally the wait is between 1 and 1 1/2 hours for them though and you are expected to wait. For a 1st rate, experienced dermatologist go to Diana Trusky off exit 109 of the parkway.

My daughter's and son's acne was cured by Iris. She is a personable woman. Takes her time and answers questions.
BUT - the office staff is terrible. RUDE!!! Harsh, Impersonal
and they over book. The wait to been seen is on avarage 1 hour
and the staff hardly looks up from front the desk. If you are looking for personalized service do not use this office. If you care only about results do try them.

By this point I have been to almost all the dermatologists within 30 miles of my home in Marlboro. A friend told me not to mess around anymore- go to the best. She was right. Dr. Schnall may be a little quick and may not have the best "bed-side manner," but he is certainly knows his stuff. He correctly diagnosed two conditions I had that all the prior doctors had mis-diagnosed- and he did it in about one minute. Now I am cured- finally. By the way...my friend who recommended Schnall has been a patient for over 20 years and Dr. Schnall found a skin cancer on her husband in 1991. Probably saved his life

Took my daughter to him for botox for sweating so we were only making appts with Dr. Schnall, no one else. Usually you can get an appt in a week or so, sometimes you wait 15 minutes and sometimes an hour to go in, and yes, he is a nice man, very pleasant and easy going but kind of rushes you, answers your questions but not a lot of explanation. The women in the office staff can be rude for the most part, this kid Tony who works there is very nice though. He is the only dermatologist in the area who is recognized for using botox for sweating and seems to know his stuff and seems to do alot of them.

I have been to this office 3 times, twice with Iris Dubetsky, the PA for my daughter and once with Dr Schnall for myself. I found that she gave me prescription creams and antibiotics which I think did not help my daughter much at all and so I stopped going. But when I saw him for myself, I found that he was much better. He seems to know his field of practice. I did not have a hard time getting an appt nor did I have to wait more than 1/2 hour in the office when I went to see him. The staff is NOT very friendly but very business-like and just seem to go about their routine. I don't think it is the best office (staff-wise) but I did like him better than the last 2 dermatologists that I saw, which were both so busy and not worth the wait. There don't seem to be many dermatologists around, especially not in the area. He has a better bedside manner and seems to care more. I would definitely go back again but only to see Dr Schnall.

It's hard to find a good dermatologist, and Dr. Schnall definitely is one. But, be warned - it's really difficult to get an appointment and virtually impossible to get one on short notice. Also, the staff are always busy and sometimes can get quite rude, especially if you ask them too many questions. Even if you get to your apointment on time, you still end up waiting for what seems like forever, and then you get to see the doctor for what seems like two minutes. However, it's still worth coming here, since Dr.Schnall has a charming bedside manner and really knows his stuff.

Stanley Schnall might be a great dermatologist, but you will never find out because he never has an available appointment. When I called about a skin condition, they tried to hook me up with the Dermatologist in training they had. She was very rude and acted like she knew it all. She prescribed some ointment and antibiotics for me and sent me on my way. My condition only worsened so I went to another dermatologist who told me the ointment and antibiotics she gave me were useless. They also keep trying to push you to buy their Stanley Schnall products which I found annoying.
