The worst experience i ever had. All the doctors and staff are rude. All they care are about is the money, they don't even greet you when you get there, they show no concern about the children..as soon as you get there they ask for their co-pay!!!

I do not recommend this office! We had been going to them for over four years since the birth of our first son and were very happy with the care the doctors were giving our two sons. One day I missed an appointment (mistakenly put it on my calendar for the wrong day 12 instead of 2) and they wasted no time in giving us an angry phone call to let us know we missed the appointment. I was apologetic over the phone and explained how I must have made the mistake on my calendar. Still, they sent a letter to my house that I was going to be charged $100 for having missed two appointments, which was not correct. I had never missed any other appointments, I always called, and we always paid everything on time, I had only missed the one appointment. When I showed up with my 3year in hand for his appointment, they told me that they had canceled my appointment and could no longer see my son because we did not want to follow there policy. I questioned the date of the other so called "missed" appointment and they told me that two years ago I called and canceled an appointment within less than 24 hours. I pleaded with them to just see my son that day since I had taken off from work in the middle of the day and was already there. Not to mention how my son was so excited to see how much he had grown over the past year (he talked about it since the moment I picked him up from school). They would not budge and told me I would be better off finding another pediatrician. I could not believe it! I was in tears over the fact that they would do this in front of my son! I had been going there for years and always paid everything. I thought we had a great relationship with the doctors! I could not believe that they would first of all want to charge me because of an appointment I called and canceled two years ago, and secondly tell me that I needed to find another pediatrician just for posing the question! It's not like they even said that they would see him today if I paid the $100 before the visit (I would have done it even though I really didn't want to just cuz I was already there with my son). As soon as we raised the question their only answer was that I needed to find another pediatrician! They just told me that they would no longer see us anymore and there was nothing else they could do since we did not want to follow their policy. I cannot believe it! I left there in tears! They clearly don't care about the children to do something like this! They care only about their business! And I guess since over the past year my children had not been getting ill they must have figured they were not going to be making that much revenue with us so they'd be better off spending their time on other children or families they can make more money off of! IT IS REALLY A SHAME!!!!

I have been taking my 5 children to Dr. Strader for 15 years now and I could not be happier. His staff is friendly and helpful and all the Doctors are top notch. Dr. Strader treats the kids with respect and doesn't talk down to them. I love his sarcastic sense of humor.
