He seems like a really nice guy. Maybe he's good for little things. If there is the slightest possibility that you may have cancer - go elsewhere! If I hadn't gotten a 2nd opinion, I'd be dead. That's no joke. I had cancer. Dr. Babcock told me to wait for several weeks before removing the cancerous area. He assured me that my cancer would not spread before then. (I wondered how he could be sure of that.) He assured me that I would be fine and that my cancer was all contained. He never mentioned that HE HIMSELF noted in his written report that my lymph nodes were more than DOUBLE the normal size. That's right. His report stated that I indeed had cancer and my lymph nodes were 2x normal size, but he told me to wait for several weeks to do anything about it and assured me I'd be fine! (I was only 36 with 3 young boys at home.)

My second opinion doctor got me into surgery immediately (within 1 week of Dr.Babcock's appt.). He gave me a radical mastectomy and lymph node removal. 11 lymph nodes were removed. 9 were positive for cancer. The first 5 lymph nodes were so invasive that the techs didn't even need a microscope to tell that they were cancerous - inside and out. A small area of cancer had made it to my spine as well.
I had the works - chemo, radiation, surgeries.

When I found out that he KNEW that my cancer had spread to my lymph nodes, and he lied to me, AND he wanted me to wait for treatment... I can't help but wonder if he wanted me to die. Did he want to see the progression of my disease? If you have cancer, go to wwwDOTcancercenterDOTcom and they will fight for your life.
