Dr. Orth always has a smile on her face. I feel rushed during my exams and they never seem to last more than 5 minutes (which is frustrating after we've been waiting for 30 minutes). I feel pressured to squeeze my questions in. I feel that if I don't ask any questions, I'll never know. She doesn't ever seem to volunteer much information. Sometimes I think she gets so busy, that she doesn't quite listen to what I'm saying and usually responds to everything I say/ask with, "Oh good." I don't feel that I've ever really made a connection with her, even though this is my second pregnancy to go through with her. (I tried to switch practices shortly after starting this pregnancy with her [after my memory was refreshed], but was told by my insurance company it would basically be a big mess to try and transfer.) Her Nurse usually ends up making me feel like an idiot for calling and like my questions/concerns are not important. I understand the office is busy, but I'm still a patient and I shouldn't get the feeling that her Nurse is trying to blow me off.
