.

I went to UW Health urgent care because I had severe pain. After getting in to the room within minutes and having the nurse check me out. I then waited for 30 min to be greeted with the coldest emotionless and uncaring doctor I've ever encountered. Dr Susan Torhorst basically gave me 6 pain pills and referred me to somewhere else which wouldn't have been open or available until Monday. Doing the math you have six that are to be taken one every 6 hours. It being noon on a Friday I will be out by Saturday. After bringing this to her attention she gave me the line that it's "policy" when in fact I went to urgent care last summer for the same problem and received 20 pain pills. Now keep in mind I'm not one of those addicts that jumps from doctor to doctor and I even told her that and I was treated as one. I switched my insurance to UW Health because I've heard nothing but good things about their level of care to be extremely let down and basically referred to a place I don't even have my insurance through.
