She began by heckling me for various life choices that weren't remotely relevant to the appointment. I asked her about birth control for regulating hormones and she mainly just mocked me and didn't give me any helpful information. She then insisted that because I had ever had sex with a man, I had to get tested for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea, which is not the worst advice but I didn't want to be tested there because it was too expensive and I wasn't really at risk at all. She refused to let me say no and then told me she was going to do a full blood panel just because and when I resisted she accused me of being irresponsible. When I expressed concern about cost she was dismissive and then acted as if it wasn't going to be a concern. She then made fun of my breasts during the breast exam, saying that they were weird and then asking what was wrong with me. She also asked me if I had ever had sex with someone who injected drugs and I said that I hadn't and then she told me that she was trying to imply I should get tested for HIV and Hep C and that to not do so was so very irresponsible. She shamed me multiple times for my sexual choices knowing very little about them, mocked me the entire appointment, and then raked me up almost a thousand dollars in blood work, when none of it was necessary and it turned up absolutely nothing and I had expressed, repeatedly, concern about cost.

I would NEVER go back to her. She is rude, condescending, insensitive, unhelpful and will just sit there and heckle you about everything she can the entire time.

I came out with no treatment and a horrible experience. This lady was insensitive and commented on every insecurity I have. To include my parenting, my marriage, my work schedule, my financial situation and my weight (even though I just lost 20 lbs and am 10 away from my healthy weight range). She said "You just need to go running every day and get rid of all your extra fluff". Just so you get the extent of this visit here is a little re-cap-- she asked if I was pregnant, I told her no but I had thought about having another baby and would like to-- then she cut me off and threw her arms up in the air being dramatic and said "Well if your going to have a baby-- I can't help you". Then I finished and I told her not necessarily right now but that I was not on birth control. Then it led to her asking "What are you going to do with it?" ('it' meaning a baby). Being in my work uniform, I answered that "My husband and I work opposite shifts and when needed my kids go to daycare" to which she condescendingly replied "My first husband and I used to do that. It doesn't work...". Eventually the visit led to her saying "it wouldn't be fair to the baby" (for me to have one). And "Sometimes just shaking the bottle of (undisclosed prescription) in your ear is enough to make you feel better". Sent me out with nothing but a bad experience and a fee for an hour long appointment filled with her opinions (most which were incorrect and completely unrelated to the reasons I went in the first place). I understand professionals need some information to help-- but not like this...It was a nightmare. She didn't do anything but talk. Even though I was crying during the appointment (after already being in an emotional situation prior to the apt), she just assumed she knew why and kept going and she never stopped. I hesitated with my answers after the first five minutes since she made me feel so awful and uncomfortable. The only thing I regret more then going to this appointment is that I didn't just walk out when she was being so insensitive to the point of cruelty.

Chart "said" I was informed of results that I never received. I went two years without treatment as a result.
