Dr. Paroski only shows up for 5 minutes and all that time she is hurrying up to get out of there, is violent with you and causes problems and I am not sure where she got her degree, but she does not understand some basic facts about birth and biology. She was not respectful at all of our wishes. She thinks that vernix is dead skin, which it is not, it is called "sebum" which is a vital nutrient to newborn skin. She pulled on the baby coming out which damaged the babies bones, and then she PULLED on the placenta coming out, which can cause a post partum hemorrhage!!! It is so dangerous! Pulling on the baby caused multiple tears that more than likely would not have occurred if she had applied patience and proper counter pressure. One of the biggest upsets was the blatant disregard for the wishes of baby to get its birthright: all its cord blood. Cord blood is up to 40% of a babies blood volume which all humans have a right too, and it can prevent anemia in toddler years. ALSO its live repairing stem cells that help heal from any damage during birth, she was told at the moment the baby was crowning: DO NOT CLAMP THE CORD, and the first thing she did is completely disregard that and CLAMP THE CORD. It was disrespectful, and a violation of babies rights to their blood. She was very rough repairing the damage she caused. Please find a different OB. If you at all want to have a safe, natural childbirth then run far away from this woman.

I LOVE Dr. Paroski! I am currently seeing her for my third pregnancy and have had many complications throughout all of them, which she has handled fantastically! I'm kind of shocked at the other reviews claiming she pushes c-sections and is not "natural birth" friendly because she supported my decision to go naturally without pain meds and was a great help during labor! With my last pregnancy, I was in the hospital on bed rest and sometimes she wouldn't come check on me until 10 pm or later, because she was still working in the office, with a family of her own, I think it is amazing how much time this woman dedicates to her patients!! I absolutely love the care I have received from her and really can't think of any negative experiences I have had.

Dr Paroski is amazing. I had been with her for a few years, when I left to go to a provider who made grand promises of a more natural birth. However, that other provider never really did his job. He (the other provider) repeatedly put me in danger. That other provider dumped me as a patient while I was in labor. I called Dr. Paroski, after several hours of labor and begged her to take me as a patient, on a Saturday night. She didn't make me feel bad for it. She brought me right in. She gave hugs and was wonderful. She did have a rotten nurse for a while there, but that nurse is gone. Her new nurse is wonderful. But another thing that makes Dr. Paroski amazing is that she is not too arrogant to say she is sorry when something did not go well. She is a modest, humble person. Those are traits we rarely find in a doctor. So, she might not be perfect, but I will always know that she is trying. However, she does also happen to be a very skilled doctor who trained at Stanford. I can trust her.

I started seeing Dr. Paroski when her practice in Flower Mound was new and she didn't have a lot a patience and she was the only doctor in her practice. I loved the fact that she provided personal attention, she does listen, she doesn't have one foot out the door to get to the next patient when she is with me like most doctors. Her focus was on me when she was with me and I felt I had plenty of time to ask any questions that were on my mind. I also appreciated that she was willing come to the phone and talk with me personally if had a problem or question between visits and that she had great consideration for my comfort and did whatever was necessary to ensure it whether during an exam, a diagnostic or surgical procedure, or a problem between visits.

I expected the level of attention I received to drop off as her practice grew over the years. However, while I can see that she is much busier, I am still satisfied that I am receiving the same care I have come to expect. I have recommended her to others including a friend who hadn't had an annual exam in years and who very much disliked all doctors...but she saw Dr. P and continues to see her today. I am planning to have my teen daughter start seeing her before she goes off to college this year.

One other thing...to prove the point about listening and caring for my comfort, I had to call in after hours one time between appointments to get refills for a UTI I treatment. Usually Dr. P or one of her associate Dr.'s would return the call personally; however, on this occasion, it was a nurse (I think) that returned my call. She refused to call in the refill until I argued with her for half hour and missed a social engagement. She as very rude and many quite a few inappropriate remarks. She informed me that she provided after hours service for 7 different doctors and felt she was following protocoI and was not comfortable calling in the refill until I was able to see the doctor (which would not have been possible until three days later). I didn't think that her discomfort compared to mine, but she had no regard for that. I later expressed my grief to Dr. Paroski during my follow up visit. She was very apologetic, and acknowledged that she had read the notes that the lady I spoke with left in my file and she was also concerned about the way I treated. She also indicated that other patients had expressed similiar concerns and assured me that they would not continue to use that person's services and I would not have to deal with her in the future. So far I haven't. Dr. P really does care and she really does listen.

I will never return to Dr. Paroski or recommend her to anyone. She failed to diagnose a problem after my c-section even after 6 visits to her office in 1 year. My problem was properly diagnosed in ONE visit with another OB. I now need surgery to correct her mistakes. This has caused me a lot of physical discomfort and pain. She also used a medication on me during my induction that is contradicted and could have caused many problems. I feel that she DOES NOT give informed consent and uses her bedside manner and "sweetness" to persuade patients to do what she wants. Don't be fooled by this. She refused to acknowledge her mistakes with my care even though I have two separate healthcare providers validating my condition was caused by her negligence.

I had been to Dr Tom Neel for over 15 years and had 4 children under his care, he was the best. When he died I didn't think I would ever find another Dr. that I would trust and feel as at ease with until I found Dr. Paroski. She is a well educated Dr with a great bedside manner. When she is talking to you rather it be on the phone or in person you feel that you are her main concern. Her Office staff, office nurse, and the nurse that takes your blood are nice and professional. The PA is okay, I wasn't that inpressed with her. I expresed my concern about the PA to Dr. Paroski and she advised me that in the future if I couldn't get in with her to go to one of the other Dr.'s in the office that has a simiular way of practicing medicine as she does. I have also brought my oldest daughter to her and plan on bringing me other 2 when the time is right. She is amazing.

I am very untrusting of doctors in general. Being a patient without insurance most of my life, I've always had to go to Planned Parenthood. When I got on Medicaid during my pregnancy, I was still nervous because usually the docs you get to use with Medicaid aren't great. Dr. Paroski genuinely cares about people so much that she accepts Medicaid when most decent docs won't (due to the low pay they get from Medicaid). She is AMAZING. I've always been nervous about exams (my cervix is slightly tilted so I'm usually hurt during exams) but she was incredibly gentle and I never once had to remind her of that all throughout my preg. She sees lots of patients but you would never know by the type of care she gives you. She may not remember you a whole lot after not seeing her for a few yrs, but that's to be expected of a doc that sees so many patients. That fact definitely won't change my mind about going to this clinic. Everyone here is very helpful and kind. Dr Paroski should be every doc's role model. :)

The office staff is rude - went for my appointment and was told that the doctor couldn't see me and I would have to see the nurse. This was the 3rd year in a row! The Dr. overheard and was able to see me, she is very sweet. Unfortunately, my pap smear was inconclusive, and a message was left for me that "we'll just see you next year". I called back to have it redone - who would want to wait a year, especially when you are in your mid-40's?? The nurse did the pap smear - WORST experience of my life!!! Guess she wanted to make sure she got enough cells, so she was VERY aggressive. I bled and cramped for two days (I have never had pain from a pap smear)!!! Had to call back after 2 weeks for my results, because no one called. Terrible experience, and I'm looking for a new doctor!!

As I read reviews I was also shocked like some other reviewer.
My experience with this doctor is so bad. Her nurse was worst nurse I've ever met.I waited the answer I need to hear for 2week. Office staffs are so rude and rushing. They are not working properly.
I do not trust this rating system. I rated this doctor overall low but showed high rate.

Dr. Paroski has a wonderful bedside manner but be careful and not fooled! She uses the "big baby" card and schedules early inductions. She is not natural birth friendly or VBAC friendly. She missed a major complication of mine even after many opportunities to diagnose it. It took another caregiver one look to know something wasn't right.

Dr. Sylvie Paroski and Flower Mound Women's Health is an amazing OB/GYN's office. Dr. Paroski takes time to talk to you before your annual exam to discuss any problems or issues that you may have. Her staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Paroski. She is highly respected in the medical community!
