Dr. Atkins refused to refill prescriptions I've been on prior to moving to WA, claiming she did not want to prescribe more than one pill because she didn't know up front whether they'd interfere with any others. While the honesty is appreciated, the lack of willingness to do her homework results in a lack of respect. Plus, as I said, I've been on these medications at my previous residence and merely needed updated prescriptions.

So, Dr. Atkins printed out a referral sheet.

Of the 20-some doctors Dr. Atkins referred me to for refills on my prescriptions, she "starred" two of them. Neither of those two were covered by my insurance.

4 of the 20-some were covered by my insurance:
1.) Booked through to August since April.
2.) had only horrendous reviews on top of horrible background checks,
3.) phone number had evidently been disconnected and never updated on the referral sheet or anywhere else online or in phone books.
4.) Found no evidence of the last one's office or existence whatsoever.

The other big bone to pick with her is that she has ordered a urinalysis EVERY time I've seen her (an unfortunate handful of times), despite the fact that I had no reason to believe I could be pregnant. I understand that I'm a married 20-some female, but I also understand how to make a baby and what signs tell me whether I've succeeded in that realm. I've refused most of the tests without a word, but last time I actually called her back after she left in a rush and told her I wouldn't be providing a urine sample because it simply wasn't necessary. She hadn't listened to me at all and clearly doesn't care whether my concerns are addressed at all.
