I had my first appointment with Justin and I was very impressed with his professionalism and skills as a massage therapist. I was experiencing much pain in my shoulders and upper back and walked out of the office completely relaxed and pain free. I have already recommended Justin to many of my friends and made it clear to my husband that whenever I was due a present, that a gift certificate to see Justin @ The Sensitive Touch would work for any occasion!

I love going to The Sensitive Touch. I have herniated disks in my neck which give me constant problems throughout my back. My doctor recommended that I add in massage therapy as my muscles do not seem to relax in that area. I started seeing Justin for deep tissue massages and it has been the best thing I've ever done to help my back loosen up. They are in a new spacious office that has a very comfortable friendly atmosphere. Justin and the other staff members are always very professional and courteous and they always make me feel at ease with soothing music and comfortable room temperatures that tend to make me fall asleep quite easily. I have never had a bad experience here and have been going for over a year! I also can't wait to try out the new Yoga Studio!

I've lived in SV since the 1980's and have seen the town grow. My family still resides there, and so once in awhile I come down to help take care of my mother. This past weekend, I had a lot of stress and needed some way of relieving it. I saw Sensitive Touch on my way home and decided to stop by. I admit I was surprised by the promptness of being seen on a Sunday afternoon. I haven't had a massage in awhile, but the ones I have had have been in had quite a different atmosphere. I wouldn't call the place a "spa" more like a building with rooms and vertical blinds. The rooms didn't have the zen ambiance I was hoping for like I have had in the past. The music was alright, the room was hot because the AC didn't work, so Justin had to put on a floor fan which drowned out the music. The massage provided was all right. I have had better. I did appreciate the time and whenever I did have a question, the therapist seemed to answer it. I debated whether I would come back to Sensitive Touch at this point. When the massage was over, I went to pay for my massage, and Justin tells me that he'll have to charge me extra because he spent more time on me. I was stunned and I think he realized I was. He said someone he works with called and he had to tell her he was still there with me and that she wanted him to charge me for the time spent working on me even though I did not request the extended time. I told him well, if I had known he was going to charge me for extra time, I would have watched the time closely. I was visible not happy even though I didn't say much. He then said it was okay if I didn't have to pay the $130 dollars and just $100 even though he spent extra time with me - he just might get in trouble but all I had to do was say I didn't want to pay the $130. I was so angry and disgusted by the request. I thought it was the most tacky situation I've ever been in. And if you asked anyone in the community about me, you would know I am a very positive, caring, and upbeat person - I don't complain and I rarely let things upset me. I also pay 25% tip on my tickets if the service was even just decent! That's what I had in my hand and that's what I ended up paying for in cash - $125 - which is 5 dollars short of what Justin was trying to charge me. What I really wanted to do was tell him that I was appalled by his customer service and I wouldn't pay anything BUT unfortunately I'm not like that. I think of others and I try to help everyone all the time. I just can't get over how much I was charged for a massage I pay the same price at exclusive spas that vendor quality products like Aveda and have beautiful relaxing rooms catered to client's preference. That's another flag that flew when Justin made a comment about how dark the room was and that he was not used to it. I like the room darkly lit so I may fall asleep during the massage. He made me feel as if I was impeding his performance somehow by having the room as dark as it could get which wasn't much because the plant poked through the vertical blinds allowing the sun light to shine through. I hope the other massage places in SV have more to offer. A friend of mine bought me a massage at Visage in SV and that was a very pleasant experience - that was years ago though. Maybe I'll try them again next time. As for sensitive touch, I hope th ebest for them. By the looks of most of the comments, many think highly of the place. I may have kept my mouth closed about the appearance and feel of the place if not the tacky request to pay for the extra time I did not request for. As a professional myself, I put myself in their position and figure I would have closely watched the time, and if I went over I would have just given that time as a courtesy to a first time client. It wouldn't be the client's fault for me taking the extra time - especially if I truly cared about making that person feel better. It's sad, because I might have been a long time client and I would have paid generously. A lot of employees at restaurants and services around town know me and know how much I give.

Response from this business:

We are saddened to hear that someone was not totally happy with our services. It is definitely The Sensitive Touch, Inc. policy to ask the client before going over the scheduled time if they want to have a longer session and if they are willing to pay the extra fee for that. The therapist and I have discussed this and he is clear on this now. Additionally, we just moved to this new location within the last month and are still getting the bugs out, so to speak, and still decorating with finishing touches. We were having an issue with our new thermostat. It was not because the air conditioner does not work. It works very well. Lastly, I have read many reviews for many different businesses and find it very rare that someone would name someone and talk so negatively of them - especially in such a small town. This is this therapist's livelihood. As you can see from many other reviews, he does a terrific job and has helped many clients with his massages and expertise. I feel that this review was very mean-spirited.

Sensitive Touch was the best thing that ever happened for my 8yr old daughter and I. She was born with a condition called Arthrogryposis and she has limited motion throughout her entire body and tight tendons along with aching muscles. The wonderful staff scheduled her with Justin, and much to my surprise when we arrived for her appt. Justin had done his HW on her condition and knew exactly what he was working with. My daughter woke up for the first time in years the next morning without complaing of pain. Justin is a blessing to us and knows what hes doing. He carefully went over my daughters body making sure he talked to her the entire time about what he was doing. Justin made her very happy when he told my daughter that his goal was to help keep her from getting another surgery if at all possible. Thank you Sensitive Touch

The therapists at The Sensitive Touch are simply the best. They apply an in depth knowledge of the human body that results in a truly therapeutic experience. Following a serious and very painful groin injury, they were a key element for me in providing natural pain relief and a more rapid recovery. I use them regularly as an important part of my fitness regimen. Through their thoughtful care, these ladies prove that massage is not a luxury, but a vital part of a sound health and wellness routine. In my experience, truly great massage is hard to find. Look no further than The Sensitive Touch.

I've been coming to the experts of relaxation and stress reduction at The Sensitive Touch for several years. They are always professional and the services they offer cannot be beat! I particularly enjoy the serenity the office and the massage rooms offer. The therapists are very intuitive and understand that sometimes I want to talk and sometimes I just want to revel in the silence. I've purchased many gift certificates to give to friends, family and clients . . . the recipients have always been most appreciative of the services they received at The Sensitive Touch. I wish them every success in their new location!

I've now experienced 3 of the massage therapists at the Sensitive Touch and have been equally impressed by all of them. The rooms are so beautifully decorated. The atmosphere is totally serene. And the massage is so relaxing that I often fall asleep. On top of that, the prices are incredibly reasonable. Easy online appointment scheduling and reminders. I highly recommend the Sensitive Touch!

If you are looking for a wonderful relaxing and healing massage Treana is your massage therapist. I have had many massages in my life, yet from the moment I walked into the peaceful healing room I knew this one was different. I will never question if I should make time for a massage again. Treana and the Sensitive Touch are amazing. I am very grateful!

The Sensitive Touch, currently housed in the Suncloud Chiropractic offices on La Linda Way in Sierra Vista is by far the best choice for anyone whose seeking a massage therapist. The facilities are clean and comfortable, the staff are all compassionate and caring. The massage rooms are dimly lit and soothing music plays for your enjoyment as well as the decor is well-thought out, artfully done without being obtrusive. I've had massage therapy in several countries with myriad approaches and Treana is one of the most peaceful souls, intuitive, kind and giving. I've rarely felt as peaceful.

My previous therapist, who moved away, recommended Treana - it has been a perfect fit. Her sense of humor, aura of calm and easy transitions from one movement to the next is great. She introduced me to NST, which is very interesting. I've recommended Sensitive Touch to several friends. The E-mail msges/reminders work well.

The Sensitive Touch is a professional and classy run operation. As a chiropractor with 8 years of experience working with and receiving massages from at least 15 different therapists it is my personal opinion that Treana Morris has put together as good a group of therapists with varied talents that you will find. Treana herself is the best massage therapist I have ever experienced and the most professional therapist I have ever met. She runs a clean, neat and extremely relaxing clinic with three rooms that are built, painted and decorated with such a unique flair that you would not find even on Rodeo Drive. She now has many appointments available most times of the day throughout the week and even into the weekend. With this many rooms and therapists many couples take advantage of the opportunity to get simultaneous massages. Great owner; Great staff; Great prices and package deals; Great variety; Great availability and they get my highest recommendation.

I get weekly massages for health reasons. When my regular therapist had to leave town, I went to Sensitive Touch. I asked for a deep tissue massage because my pain felt deep in the muscles and tissues. Susan said "rolfing" would help me the most. She was right. I feel that a lot of the knots don't return. Those pains that do return don't come back with such a vengeance.
Also, Susan is always willing to try something new to see if it works, and she asks my permission and explains the what and why of a different technique. She is excellent at staying on schedule while still getting all the massage work done.
Susan asked if I'd rather talk or have it quiet while I got massaged. Very thoughtful, indeed. The room is relaxing and peaceful, and it always smells good.
Sensitive Touch has been very kind to me. I missed my first appointment by an hour--my mistake. Susan stayed late and did the massage for me anyway. When I make an appointment now, they immediately email the appointment notice to me. I won't be late again! This week, I didn't feel well and on Wednesday. I asked for another massage later in the week. Susan is coming in on Saturday to make sure I get the massage.
Their prices are very reasonable, and they even offer a "$20 off special" if you buy three massages in advance.
The therapists are happy people who leave their troubles away from the therapy rooms. They are always pleasant and have smiles on their faces. I feel very welcome when I enter the office.
I recommend their work to everyone needing or wanting a massage, but especially to those in a lot of pain. The therapists's massages help reduce the pain right away! I give them 5 stars.
