This entire doctor's office is the most unprofessional place I have ever visited. The staff is rude and very unhelpful, both at the office and over the phone. On my first visit, Dr. Corcoron came in was basically speaking to me like I was a child and did not fully explain anything that I had asked. He spent more time talking about my iphone then the injury to my back and neck. I will never go back to the this doctor nor would I recommend him to anyone. Avoid this place at all cost, there are many more professional good doctors to waste your time and money here.

I am a patient of Dr. Corcoran's and I must say I am very suprised about the other comment about him. He is a wonderful Dr as well as surgeon. He has always made time to answer all of my questions and I am one wth many questions when it comes to my health. If I ever had a problem or concern he would not make me wait for an appointment. Most specialist are very difficult to get appointments with in a timely manner. I have referred many friends and family to him and they all love him. The office is VERY busy but I would think if you have a busy office then alot of people must want to come there for a reason. Overall I will always return to the office and continue to see Dr. Cororan.

Worst service ever. They give you a beeper as if you were in a TGI Fridays as you wait, which was well over an hour. Then they send you back with a bag and you have to find your own way to the room, nobody bothers to walk you back to your room. Then Dr. Corcoran came in, talked for a minute, then walked out and took a phone call while he kept the door open and was talking to someone about how "hopefully it happens while he's in the OR so that way he can't hold us liable, by the way I have a check for $5000 for you next time your here" is the exact words I caught. Then comes back in, talks in his tape recorder and says "Nice to meet you, see you back in 6 weeks, go to room 18 to get your splint." then proceeds to walk out. Horrible !! Doesn't care about patients and their concerns or questions.

I first went to the facility for a "frozen left shoulder" and was treated by Dr. McLean. He is absolutely wonderful. I'm an RN who has managed several medical practices in the past, so it's sometimes difficult to impress me. While I sometimes had to wait an inordinate amount of time to see the Doctor it was worth the wait. I am now involved with the pain management center for a cervical spine issue. Dr. Mahoney is a true professional. Although I have a strong background in medicine the Doc explained in great detail and in language that even a 4 year old could understand the physiology and treatment for my ailment.
I would highly recommend this facility.

I love this Dr. office. I was beginning to give up on health care in PA. I am a transplant from another state. Not only is his office extremely well staffed, which in itself is a real pleasure!!
Especailly since the first orthopedic Dr. I went to at another facility had one nurse and one receptionist for a very busy office!! Needless to say, I did not go back to that office after my first visit!!! So, it was a real treat to enter this office and see so many very competent, very well trained, and very pleasant staff. The waiting room was absolutely unprecedented, with a little cafe and nice 'dining' tables and chairs where one could sit and read. Although the wait to be seen was long, it was within the 'normal' parameters for wait time at any other Dr.s office. The wait time went rather quickly. Once inside to see the Dr. it was another pleasurable experience. He had his own personal nurse with him who assisted him in all his professional needs. He and his nurse was very pleasant. The Dr. was very informative and I was amazed at how well he explained, my condition,my prognosis and course of treatment. Very good experience. I would recommend this Dr.and this facility to anyone!!!! I feel better for the first time in several weeks, since I sustained my shoulder injury.

Northeast Orthopedic Specialist / Muscle Bone & Joint Center incorporated my shoulder surgery with my physical therapy all in one destination. My doctor Dr. Mark Desmond was informative, patient, friendly and kind. The entire staff treated me with kindness and comfort. I have recommended Dr. Desmond to my friends and colleague's. My daughter was recently injured and I took her to Dr. Desmond for treatment. Hats off to the Muscle Bone & Joint Center for doing such a great job!

This office was recommended after another doctor had made a mistake and I needed it corrected. The injury was rare and the treatment not known. The physician was friendly, and knowledgeable but always rushed!. Once he realized he could not fix the injury he was up front and honest and referred me to another physician. The staff always seems rush as well. The office was crowded and the chairs not very comfortable. This was of importance because of the wait to see the doctor, although with orthopedist you must expect emergencies. I never took advantage but they had a snack bar in the waiting room, what a nice idea for those coming during lunch. However, to me this meant a long wait if refreshments were required! They had adequate parking and the location not hard to find.
