Dr. Thomas Kipps is a specialist for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. He has been my doctor for 3+ years. He is very knowledgeable and researcher in his field. He is sought out as a speaker and is also know for his work in biological studies. I am currently in a clinical trial that he was just doing at his clinic. I am doing it in Tucson though because of the travel expenses. I recommend ANY one with this kind of cancer to see him as their second opinion or as their doctor. There is so many things about this disease that most doctors do not know about concerning testing and stuff like that. The local oncologist sees few cases compared to Dr. Kipps. CLL is ALL he sees. Tuesdays is his clinical days. Oh, he also found out what the pain in my lymph nodes was--residue of the shingles virus! He put me on prophylactic Valtrex and the pain went away! Great doc and so is his nurse, sheila.
