.

He has been my PCP since I was 2 years old ( so 26yrs). It is rare to find such a caring doctor that is so compassionate and sympathetic to your individual needs. When I have to go in for something I am not too embarrassed to be open with him because I know he has my best interest at heart and he makes me feel like we've all been there. He is genuine, takes his time, will listen to you, answer all of you questions(no matter how petty they may be), gives you recommendations and advice, drug free solutions. He would not refer his patients to someone he would not want treating his own family. When I had my son I called his office for a pediatrician referral. I trust his judgement, it's honest & he will take time and will discuss pros and cons of treatment options, you have choices, ya know. He has a very busy office but when it's your turn to see him you don't feel rushed, he's calm and casual. When I didn't have insurance and was sick or had an issue requiring medication he gave me samples of what I needed to get me better, otherwise I could not have afforded them. I could write all day about why he is the best doctor in the world but I think this is enough to make my point. I lived in Florida for a few years in my teens and saw a different PCP every time I needed one, none ever came close to Dr. Bella. There have also been times when I had insurance he did not accept, I paid out of pocket because I did not want to see anyone else! If tomorrow he decided to be cash only, I would have no choice but to go with it. I see a lot of doctors/specialist, he is the only one I would pay out of pocket instead of finding someone else on my insurance plan. PS I only see him when needed and he does not write me pain pills unless i have a broken arm, etc. What I mean is that I could go to any other doctor and receive the same treatment, I'm not dependent upon him. You just don't find doctors like him anymore, when and IF you do, never let them go.
