.

I went to see this doctor and everything went perfectly. I was not sick I simply needed a quick medication perscription.

Unfortunatly I did not open the mail I got from them at home. My insurance did not cover this and I was unaware. So they called me for payment and this is where I lost interest in every going back.

First and only call was to my office.....during the workday. "you need to make a payment or payment arrangement today or you will be sent to collections. "

Alright, I should have opened the bill. My fault.

But what happened in america where people accept this as appropriate behavior? I do not. I will not see a doctor who sicks a collections department on me during their first call for payment.

The days of real doctor/patient relations must no longer exist. Regardless I went and paid the bill.

You may not have a problem with them or be in my situation...but you should be aware of thier policys because I am betting they carry over in other areas of the doctors practice.

Treat you.....then treat you like a dog.
