My daughter was supposed to see Dr. Todd Dillon with Little Turtle Pediatrics and it was the worst experience we've ever had with a doctors office. To begin, it took us atleast 30 calls if not more to even get through to the office. We made an appointment for that day and when we got there the place seemed like nobody had updated it or cleaned it in years. The carpets were dirty, they didn't have any medical equipment on hand and the only piece of medical equipment Dr. Dillon brought in with him was an otoscope. When dr. dillon came in he was wearing a pair of dirty black cargo pants, an old worn out scrub shirt and tennashoes. He reminded me of someone I would have seen at a party not as my child's doctor. When he walked in, he came straight from another patient's room without washing his hands. He was coughing frequently while trying to examine her and again never washed his hands afterward. He never even took her temperature. She was being seen because when we left the hospital she had jaundice that they said she needed to be seen by the doctor right away for. We mentioned to him our concern about her jaundice and he said she was barely yellow and that we had nothing to worry about. The next day when I took my fiance to her ob visit the ob pointed out how yellow she looked. We had to take her to the hospital and get bloodwork done to find out how bad it was. If he had her blood checked the day he saw her we may have been able to start treatment sooner and it would have caused us less worry. We Have since switched doctors so that our little girl can recieve the proper treatment. So I advice that if you are thinking about Todd Dillon as your child's pediatrician you should reconsider.

He is very personal and great with the kids. Salera (my daughter) Loves him very much. I was sad when he moved out of Northeast Pediatrics with Dr. Dick. But I am looking into getting back with him for my daughters doctor. Cant wait to see him again!!! I highly recommend him!:)

We saw Dr. Dillon at NIPS for our children. We had been warned not to see Dr. Dick because of his abrupt bedside manner. My 3 year old daughter had a virus and was coughing repeatedly, and finally vomited from the cough. I called the doctor's office to see if there was anything I should be on the lookout for. I knew it was a virus and didn't feel the need to seek immediate medical attention. I just wanted to speak with my doctor and make sure that he agreed that the virus would just take its course.

It was after hours and Dr. Dick was on call. He called back promptly. I explained the symptoms my daughter was experiencing. He interrupted before I had finished, saying that my daughter had asthma and would need a prescription for it. I am very familiar with asthma. My daughter had NEVER shown any signs of it and was not wheezing or showing any signs of it at this time. Dr. Dick told me he would need to schedule a time to see her to prescribe a steroid or inhaler to treat her asthma as he didn't feel comfortable doing that over the phone. I pointed out that he felt comfortable diagnosing a life-long illness over the phone! I told him that I would see Dr. Dillon, because I was appalled at Dr. Dick's advice. Medicine cannot be practiced over the phone. If he takes this shortcut, what other shortcuts is he taking with children's health care?

Dr. Dillon has since left this practice and Dr. Dick has taken over all the patients. There are definitely better pediatricians out there. Keep looking.

Doctor Dick and his staff are very wonderful people. They have gone out of thier way to care for my daughter. When we first took her in to see him, I was a little freaked out by his deminer with my daughter, but warmed up to him in notime. I was warned about his way with kids, but I tell you he takes a bit to get used to. He is a great doctor that himself is a large child. He treats each kid like they came to play, and sets them at ease.

PROS: Great doc
CONS: Hard to get used to
