My husband's teeth were in very bad shape, so much so, it was affecting his speech. We got a few quotes for cosmetic dentistry, coming in between $30,000 and $50,000 to make his mouth right while keeping the teeth he had. As a last resort, we asked for some advice from Dr. Landenberger, and he proposed all crowns for about $10,000. The procedure was painless and his teeth now are very natural looking. My husband can finally smile.

Our family of five has been seeing Dr. Landenberger since around 1997 or so when he was at his old location at Hwy 55 and Jenks Road. Appointments are easy to schedule and you never have to wait long. His staff is always friendly, especially the hygienists. Dr. Landenbergers conservative style has surely saved me money and discomfort because he always takes the attitude of "let's just keep an eye on that..." if something is not bothering you. He has a great deal of experience and it shows.

I Love this office! I've had several friends go there and love it as well. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The dental hygienists are careful not to hurt while cleaning teeth. I have two friends who were sent to the gum special guy because they weren't flossing and got gum disease (perio something) - they openly admit it's their own fault but they are doing well now. Dr. Landenberger is awesome - very sincere and conservative. Dr. Douglass is great too - very talented young man! They have a new lady doctor in there now who seems to be just like the rest of them. They are less expensive than most and I've personally experienced them trying their best to keep my out of pocket cost to a minimum. I needed a certain x-ray to take to an oral surgeon to take out my wisdom teeth but my insurance wouldn't cover it until the next day (I hate insurance company policies!) and they scheduled me in to come back and do it so I wouldn't have any out of pocket money to pay - most offices would have just done it right then and sent me a bill. I don't understand how most of insurance works. I don't think they are in "cahoots" with any specialists - that's illegal for one, and for two - how many people actually floss to maintain health!? Hello, most of us probably have some level of issue. I highly recommend this office! :)

I love Dr. Landenberger. He as a great bedside manner, and is conservative when it comes to treating dental problems. He discusses all the options and does not push a bunch of potentially unnecessary procedures. I have a great fear of the dentist and Dr. Landenberger always calms me down right away. I do not, however, like his associate Dr. Douglass. Dr. Douglass seems to push having work done, that may have less invasive options or possibly could wait.

Terrible! Refused to give any pain relief to kids even when I told him they needed to have it. "Fixed" a cavity for my daughter and put in a filling. She had TERRIBLE pain. I took her back in on an emergency visit, and he said she was fine and the tooth was fine. Gave her Tylenol but she was still in pain and I took her back in about 10 days later. He did an xray, said the tooth was fine, and told me it was "teething pain" in my 5 year old daughter! He looked right at her, and told her to stop bothering her mother with lies about how her tooth hurt.

I treated her "teething pain" for weeks with medicine, and told her it was OK and would stop hurting. Her personality changed and she was obviously hurting, so I took her to a new dentist. HE said from the xray I had retreived from Landenberger, it was obvious there was a cavity deep in the tooth under the filling, and Landenberger should have seen it. He had to extract her tooth because the decay was severe, and one other that had been filled and was also bad! She lost two teeth and was in terrible pain for almost 2 months, when "Dr" Landenberger told us both she was not in pain.

Her personality went back to normal after she had the teeth taken out by the other dentist I took her to, stopped being in pain, and even her color improved.

I despise him for his treatment of my daughter and son, for how he allowed her to be in pain and how he worked on both kids' teeth refusing them pain medicine.

I would not recommend him, and would encourage any parent taking their child to him to take a close look at their care, and have another dentist look at their teeth!

In my opinion, he should be ashamed of himself for leaving my daughter in pain and calling her a liar!!!

Dr. Landenberger's staff regularly keeps recommending for other dental services to Orthodontics or Periodontics, even with no issues.
If any of those additional dental services are not performed they keep pushing at every visit or even threatens not to make any further
Regular cleaning appointments. Very annoying.
It is obvious that, this doctor has some profit-sharing with those other dental services.

Very unfriendly staffs and helpers. Stay away from this place.

If your looking for a dentist that truly cares about his patients, then this is the place for you. He is not interested in crowning every tooth in your mouth. If it's not broke, he's not fixing it. I was a patient from Boca that also looked him up when I moved here. I was never told he was retireing, but for what ever reason he left it surely could have been the same reason anyone else leaves. He doesn't smoke. You spent thousands of dollars for periodontal disease because YOU weren't taking care of your teeth. Its not something you catch, it is caused from a lifetime on bad oral hygiene. I get beat up every time I go in by his hygienists about not flossing, and warned that if I continue I will get periodontal disease. Look in the mirror when you want to blame someone. Also, check around, he has the lowest prices in town. His staff is very nice, and they rave about him too. I think people should only write what they know and not what they think might be true.

i used to be a patient of his in boca raton, florida. he never told me i had periodontal disease. it has cost me thousands upon thousands of dollars to treat my problems. the woman that referred me to him also had periondontal disease and also ended up spending a LOT of money for dental implants due to periodontal disease. i find it interesting that he told all of us in boca raton that he was retiring, yet he went to NC and opened a practice!!!! was he avoiding possible litigation in Florida? I only know that it seems weird that a dentist with a sucessful practice in BOCA RATON would pack up and leave. WHY?

This is my dentist office that I visit bi-annually. The assistants clean my teeth gently before the dentist inspects my mouth for any major problems. My appointments are always very quick and easy. Because of the very enthusiastic staff along with the welcoming atmosphere, I don't have any more qualms of visiting the infamous dentist!

I attend this dentist yearly for my yearly teeth checkup. They schedule their appointments in a way that there is never a holdup in service. The dentist assistants clean your teeth with care as to not hurt you, and are also very polite. The one thing that bugs me is that when the main Dentist checks me out after cleaning, he does not wear one of those mouth masks. From the smell of his breath, I can tell he's a smoker, and its not very good smelling. Other than this minor problem, this place is great.

PROS: Fast cleaning and checkup
CONS: Main dentist does not wear mask, bad breath
