I have known Dr. Malloy since the mid 1980's and have worked with him at various hospitals in Atlanta. I am a Registered Nurse First Assistant and as such I have assisted many surgeons in the operating room over the years. I can attest that while Dr. Malloy's surgical skills are top-notch, his compassion for his patients is equally impressive. He is well liked and respected in the medical community and has been practicing in the Atlanta area for over 30 years. He has served as Chief of Staff at DeKalb Medical Center at Hillandale and is credentialed at several hospitals. He is currently in solo practice where he specializes in gynecological surgery and clinical research trials. Both of my daughters have participated in his clinical research studies, as have some of their friends and many of my colleagues. He no longer covers obstetrics due to the demands of his clinical trials and office practice, but I would have no reservations whatsoever referring anyone I know to him for gynecological related issues. I don't know much about his training other than he is a graduate of Johns Hopkins, but I remember when he had to leave Georgia Baptist (now Atlanta Medical Center) to serve in Desert Storm and came in to deliver a baby in fatigues on his way to be deployed. I do know he is passionate about his profession and stays abreast of the latest treatments available. The thing that everyone will tell you though (other than he talks a lot and is a rabid Washington Redskins fan) is that he makes each patient feel comfortable and takes the time to address their issues. He will tell you the majority of his patients have grown up with him over the years, from birth control to childbirth to menopause and beyond. To find a skilled surgeon with compassion for his patients that is still on the cutting edge in his specialty is a rare find these days. You'll just have to overlook that Brooklyn accent.

First of all I would like to thank Dr. Malloy and his staff for all the kindness and compassion that they show to me. When I first walked in this office I was greeted with warm smiles. I was in alot of pain, and really did not feel like filling out the paperwork. Since it was my first time they needed this information from me. One of the lady's at the front desk was getting ready to take here lunch break, When she walked into the lobby she notice that I had not even started the paperwork. She saw that I was in pain, so she sat beside me and asked would I like her to help me fill out my paperwork. She read each and every form to me, explain what I didn't understand and showed me where I needed to sign. Once we finished she took me to the back to one of the exam room. Waited in the room with me until the Dr. Malloy came to examine me. And she did this all on her lunch break. Dr. Malloy was very patient with me. I had just left the lobby, so I know there were quit a few patients waiting to see him as well. He never rushed, explained everything to me. So thank you Dr. Malloy and your staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Malloy's for many years and have nothing but enormous respect for him. He is an excellent physician, kind and caring as well. His staff is wonderful. The office is well-run. He has never disappointed me and I have, litterally, trusted him with my life. As long as he is in practice, I will be his patient and recommend him to any of the women I care about.

Dr. Malloy is hands down one of the best OBGYNs I've ever been to, he's very professional and extremely nice. I couldn't imagine a better doctor he's very knowledgable, any question I had about my body was met with questions and simple and well explained solutions.

I was referred to Dr. Malloy from a friend of mine. I was new to the area and I was looking for a doctor with expertise and a caring spirit. From the moment I walked into his office I felt very comfortable because the staff was so professional. I didn't have to wait long to be seen even though I was a new patient. Once he came in the exam room he introduced his self and proceeded to exam me. He took the time to explain every detail to me and make notes of all my concerns. He made all the proper suggestions to me and recommended exactly what he and I felt was necessary. He has so much compassion. I will continue to see him as my primary doctor and would recommend him to any family, friends, or co workers! He's GREAT!!!!!!!!!

I have been to a few differen't doctors here in Atlanta and Dr. Malloy was by far the best. The office experience and interaction with his staff was great. They were always very pleasant and professional. Dr. Malloy has always taken the time to discuss any questions or concerns I have. Dr. Malloy is always informative and has proven to be a genuinely good man through his work ethic. I REFUSE to see another doctor to take care of my gynecological needs. He has always provided quality care to me.

Dr. Malloy has been my Physician for more than 20 years. There is no more through and gentle Physician which is why I have remained his patient for so many years. I take GREAT exception to the remarks posted by Michelle W. Dr. Malloy is an OB/GYN, he delivered both of my children. He did not and was not asked to surrender his OB priviledges, HE chose not to continue this area of practice.
As to the abortion issue, when my daughter chose to terminate her pregnancy there was no other choice in my mind or her's as to the Physician most qualified to provide this service.
God have mercy on you Michelle W. for posting lies, half truths and slander...you are a disgrace to womanhood.

First off, Dr. Malloy is NOT an OBGYN!! He is now only a GYN surrendered doing deliveries of babies some years back after he was found negligent in the death of a baby that died in it's mother womb while she was in labor at Dekalb Hospital! Dr. Malloy only does abortions now. You know he is the doctor who was just recently indicted for Medicaid Fraud at this office address and arrested in Dec. 2011.
He is a theif , a fraudulent biller and God know what other crimes he is involved in besides killing unborn children in their mothers wombs! God have mercy on him!

I have known THEE Dr. Tyrone Malloy for abouit 30 yrs. He has delivered my children, he has ben my OBGYN for years. He also removed my fibroids when another dr. wanted to take everything out. Dr. Malloy felt that that was too evasive, permanent and drastic, he eased my mental, emotion and physical discomfort so easily. He is a good listener, he is caring and concern. I have loved him as my dr. over these many years. As a matter of fact, I refered my sister to him for a treatment. She plans on going him in a few months. We just have to make an appt. BRENDA!! Oprah needs to interview her, she is AWESOME!! I love the entire staff. They ALWAYS treat me like I am their only and best patient. I will drive across town to see him when I need a good OBGYN. HIM and his office staff is the BEST!!!! in the east, west north and south.

I am very upset with an issue that I am having with the Decatur office. I had a regular pap done in late August and the Dr. (No not Dr. Malloy as he was booked until October) told me that more than likely I had fibroids. Of course scared they wanted to schedule an ultrasound to take place. I had to wait for a week of course because the tech only came on certain days. I went to the ultrasound appt. which was made for me a week ago but upset that I had to pay another co-pay. Now with the economy the way it is I felt like that was a little over the top. I have never had to pay for anything extra that was concerning the same problem. So of course I pay because I want to know what is going on with me. After the session I wait for someone to come back to the room to discuss results. The tech told me that someone would call me for further instruction. So I am waiting patiently for a phone call and all stressed out at the same time. I checked my mail on yesterday 9-13-10 and the letter stated that the Dr. wanted to talk to me about my results. So I called on yesterday 9-13-10 and tried to make an appt. She just said that she would make sure that she would tell the Dr. to get in contact with me as soon as possible. I told her and that is it. You do not understand the prolonging and waiting around that I have been going through. I have this on my mind and it is not fair for me to have to wait around hoping that someone will call me. She assured that Dr. Malloy would call me 9-14-10. Well I get a call from the receptionist telling me that she had to make an appt. for me to see him about my results. By now I am very upset at the fact that they are not taking my feelings into consideration about what is going on. I asked her well when can I come in? She said on Thursday 9-16-10. I asked her why did I have to wait so long? She told me that he would not be back until Thursday. But this is the kicker I asked her so does this mean I have to pay another co-pay for a discussion. She said she you do. I am trying to figure out just when did they start doing this? They are not using equipment on me just straight talk. So now you are telling me that I have to pay another co-pay to even talk to the man. It is bad enough he did examine me. Middle class people really have it terrible and from my eyes this is highway robbery. I will be looking for another doctor starting on tomorrow. I will wait for the results than I have all this time but they will not get another dollar out of me. I think that it is sad that I can??t even have somewhat of a clue as to what is wrong with me but have to pay another co-pay in order to find out. I have never with any other doctors had to endure this chaotic mess. I am very upset about this and wish I could have chosen another doctor before I came to this location. The receptionist was very nonchalant and didn??t even try to give me a better solution. But what do they care. They are only there to receive a check. The only person that is worth talking to is Ms. Brenda. She is involved and concerned.

Dr. Malloy is a great doctor. I trust him not only with my health, but the health of my daughter and friends. You can't find a better doctor in Atlanta or a better person. He speak so that you can understand and feel like your situation matters to him.

You are the greatest Dr. Malloy.
