Vander Leest Marc DDS

I have been a patient for 5 years, overall i have been very satisfied. Fairly priced in comparison to other dentists. Only con would be while the technology is all current, the office atmosphere is a bit old and needs some updating.

This dentist office was clean and gave me a homelike feeling, as best as you can get in the dental setting. I felt Dr vanderleest was friendly and down to earth person. His prices are fair, and his staff is very nice.

Two weeks ago I took my kids to a dentist in Green Bay where they received an exam, xrays, and cleaning. They reccomended that my kids get sealants. I live in Howard, so I thought I'd support a local business by getting the sealants there. I called Dr. Vander Leest's office and made it VERY CLEAR that I had just had my kid's teeth cleaned and examed and I ONLY wanted sealants. They said to bring a copy of their xrays which I did.

Well today I went to get the sealants and I was shocked to see that they charged me not only for the sealants but for an exam for both of my kids! No mention of this was made on the phone when I made the appointment. And I made it VERY clear that I only wanted sealants. I was charged an extra $54 for un-needed exams. This may not seem like much, but I have six kids and need to save money any way I can.

I would not go back to Dr. Vander Leest because he is dishonest and cheated me out of my money. I recommend that you do not go to him either.
