.

We had been seeing Dr. Vani Ramesh for the past 10 years (from the time she was in other location). During this period we had built such a good relation with her, especially as she is from the same place as we were, it had bought us even closer. Ive introduced at least 5 more families to her clinic during this period. However, we had not seen her for the past 1 year since we planned for a baby and as baby is still an infant. She had been good to us and all the ones we ever introduced to her, including my mother who had come here for visiting and she still remembers her at times for her kindness.
3 weeks ago, we had an unfortunate situation at home and we had to call 911 as an emergency. The paramedics came and checked it out and said the situation is now stabilized and going to ER is our choice and recommended that we go see our primary physician and get it checked out ASAP. And in a panic mode we drove up with still 911 on our mind to go to ER or see our Primary Physician. And as we go near Dr. Vani Rameshs office, we started seeing the same symptoms coming back. We were just 2 minutes away from her clinic and it was around 10:30AM. We went in rushing, with an infant in one hand and the patient. And we are all in panic mode and were asking for their help in the front desk to see if we rush to ER, call and ambulance or if Dr. Vani Ramesh suggests something else. Thats when we saw the true color of the front-desk. The lady asked us if we have an appointment. We said no, but we stopped by as it was a TRUE EMERGENCY by 911 and then she asked if we have Insurance? I said yes, it is the same one that you have in your file. She said she still needs to see it before we can be seen. Then I showed her the copy of the insurance in my mobile phone holding a baby in one hand. And they said NO, we cant accept the eCopy, it has to be physical card. I kept telling her go talk to Dr. She know us personally for a long time. And she said, Why have we not seen her for past 1 years, told her about the pregnancy and she saw our 7 months old baby in my hand (in the meantime Dr. Ramesh saw us from inside and waved at us) Then this front end lady went inside for some time came back and said they wont accept the insurance copy from the phone, in spite of that we can email it to her. And we told her she can call the number on the back of the card. I kept saying it is an EMERGENCY! She didnt even hear us. Then again after few minutes of going inside and coming out, she said they cant accept the email copy of insurance card, nor they will call the phone in the back to verify and we have to pay in cash. For which I said OK, please see us. Then she says... Since, there is no appointment for us and the earliest the doctor can see is at 12:30 that is an hour from where we were. I think her name is Varsha in the front desk. I got so mad at them for wasting our precious 20 minutes just to make us wait for another hour. And I rushed out to go to ER and that is the best thing we did.
I do not know what happened to our beloved Dr. Ramesh in the past 18 months. But whatever it is, it is not good. We always thought, she is a Doctor in Need. But today the money was her clinics priority and it stood in front of our relation. For Gods sake, they know for sure how far a $100.00 consultation fee they collect would take them. But for us, the doctor failed. The people in front desk should know that they are there working because of the doctor and not the other way round. If the Doctor herself was a part of not helping the one in need from her own community, I pity the way she has turned around.
I am so sorry to say you let us down doctor you proved that you are not the Doctor in Need. Just saying what everyone already know that $$$ does not bring happiness, , the people who are being helped does. I dont think I would recommend this facility to anyone anytime. Sorry.
