Dr. Johnson is friendly, but strange. He stands too close and it kinda creeps me out. He saw my daughter in the hospital when she was born and, to make her stop crying, he stuck his thumb in her mouth - wierd! I asked him to give her the pacifier instead which he readily did. He also made an insulting comment about her long toes (they run in my family).

My daughter doesn't usually see him when she goes for her checkups. The first few times we went in, we saw a female doctor whose name I can't remember now. I liked her, but now she's gone. Then the last couple of times we went in we saw Dr Campos. I liked her. She was very friendly and could relate to the baby very well. But I think she's gone now too.

I just called and Dr Campos was no longer an option on the hold menu. So I pressed 2 to make an appointment and was placed on hold for 10 minutes! I finally just hung up.

There's a high turnover rate for doctors in that office. I'm not going back there.

Pros: Can't think of any.

Cons: Dr Johnson is wierd, other doctors don't stick around!

Only time I had an issue with the staff was addressed by Dr. Johnson immediately the same day when i brought it to his attention. My son and I are always greeted and Dr. Johnson always remembers past instances and past issues with my son. He has been a great pediatrician since the day my son was born. Same day appointments have been accommodated when needed, and office has even stayed late to see my son. Waiting room is bare but is understandable since children will only spread germs among the toys. Arriving 10 minutes early as with any other doctor. The earlier your appointment, the quicker you will be seen.

Pros: putting child's needs before parmaaceutical company revenue.

Cons: distance

Dr. Johnson can be crass, rude and acts like his is the only and perfect way. Dr. Zamora-Campos is very sweet but always "forgot" our family, even though she was in the hospital with one of our children! Staff is so/so, sometimes they are nice, sometimes they are rude. Waiting area is AWFUL, no toys, no TV, no books, just torn up old magazines and an old worn out kids table. There are NO SEPARATE waiting areas (like in EVERY other pediatric office I have been in), so sick kids and well kids are just mixed all together. Wait time is always at least 30 minutes. Will never go there again.
