Dr. Girgis is an excellent doctor. His staff is very helpful and respectful. Even when I called for an emergency appointment there is always someone there to see me, even if it's not his office hours. His Physician Assistant is always avaliable to answer questions, even if the doctor himself is seeing other patients. I feel very comfortable and secure with Dr. Girgis and his staff.

I recommend Dr.Girgis Highly, he is a very educated, polite and caring doctor. He came recomended to me by another specialist doctor, and a few patients that are already involved in his practice. Dr. Girgis spents time with his patients, and i find him thorough, he answers all your questions. His practice is busy but professional. His staff is friendly, comforting and efficient, i have been to other doctors offices where it was turmoil, Dr. Girgis's office is refreshing. The office is clean and bright. His nurse is very professional, and efficient. I wish there more professional teams works like this in this type of profession. Thank you Gr. Girgis and Staff, i will pass all good words.

Pros: VERY PRFOFESSIONAL and Comforting

Cons: Parking little hard

Dr. Girgis has a large and diverse practice. He is conscientious. Unfortunately there are some buts regarding his work as a highly rated family doctor.

If you want to take an active partnership role in your health care, your choice of medications, because you are careful to Google everything and know what you're putting in your body, other people's reactions to medications, and everything involved in the modern my-doctor-is not-my-personal health dictator movement, he will be uncomfortable. Do not use him for assessing and prescribing anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medications.

If you call his service when he's not in the office, he'll return your calls very promptly. But if you call the office during office hours, the odds are no one will pick up the phone. If you leave a message for him, there's little chance he'll get it. The office staff can't get anything right. They'll send your referrals to the wrong doctor, lose reports in your file -- none of them knows what the other is doing. It's chaos. I like him, but I just couldn't take it any more.

And finally, if you are caring for a very elderly parent, who is mobile and verbal, you're going to have a problem communicating with him what you observe as problems with your parent. He simply won't listen to adults sharing with him their observations of their parents' medical issues.

He's been told many times about these problems, and the result is that the head nurse will call you and tell you she's upset with you because you are causing problems of your own making.
