We went to Weaver Eye for Vision Therapy. I cannot comment on the practice other than for therapy. I do believe the therapist and doctor who worked with my son were able to improve his functioning. I am grateful for that. I did not, however, enjoy working with some of the staff. My son's therapist was Jane and I found her to be abrasive and unfriendly. She seemed as if she disliked her job. She also gave us a "diagnosis" for our son's developmental disability when, as far as I know, she has no medical or psychological degree. I found this unprofessional. I also did not like working with Dr. Roser. She seemed friendly to begin with but became rather condescending over time. I also take issue with her telling me what my son could and could not do after spending minimal time with him. When we were originally evaluated by Jane and then met with Dr. Roser, we asked her to assign us to a different therapist. She agreed but did not follow through. When we arrived for our therapy session, Jane came out to greet us and, as we had taken our son out of school for the appointments, we were stuck unless we wanted to wait several months for a new time slot. Also, the therapists would "sub" for one another without giving us any notice or explanation. They didn't even introduce themselves. They simply came to the waiting room and called for my son and I had no idea who they were. I would recommend Vision Therapy at this office as there are few alternatives in the area, but I suggest being vigilant about who works with your child.
