Dr. Witte is my family's doctor and has been for over 20 years. I decided in my 40s to take him on as my General Practioner, as his original advice was very sound. An interesting thing I discovered is that Dr. Witte was in fact a pharmacologist prior to becoming a physician, and I have found him to be very learned on the effects of medication, more so than a typical doctor. Another thing I came to entrust him with was his excellent referrals to specialists, however he has always conducted full and complete testing to verify the ailment first. He is experienced, practical and caring and I have absolutely NO reason to leave him as a patient, even though I now live 30 miles away. I've always found him focused on the medical issue at hand. (If you got a pat on the head and a bandaid, I'd honestly believe there was nothing wrong with you.) He and his nurse Jenny are a great team, never make me feel like "just a number" and I highly recommend Dr. Witte to anyone who wants thorough quality care.

This guy I believe is way past his retirement age, and needs to pack it in. He has very little interest in his patients - it seems to revolve around the all mighty dollar for this "Dr". You notice from his waiting room filled with Fortune and Money magazines, to his bed side manners of rushing you through as quick as possible. He is a pompous ass with the I am God typical complex. Expect for nothing to be explained to you peasant, you would never understand and he knows what is best on all accounts. His medical training and expertise seem to be firmly set in the 1950's, and sure seems there are no real improvements in procedures other than prescribing pills. Obviously, he believes in the opinion of all Americans being on medication to resolve the ills of the world, and you have to know he will be getting what he wants most for this....money. He has very limited hours of operation available, and God help you if you need to be referred to anyone else, he will try and find a way out of it. To save a buck he would put a band aide on a bullet wound and pat you on the head and say "there you go now go outside and play". He needs to retire already and sell his practice to a young bright graduate who will care about his patients more than the all mighty dollar, and know of new technology and procedures.

Avoid this guy, he should have been put out to pasture years back, and let him go spend his money or invest or whatever he is terrible.
