I have been going to the Wikler Family Practice for over 10 years. I see Linda Rosenberg who is very caring and takes as much time as necessary to explain everything. The office staff especially her nurse calls back the same day. A patient

I've been going to the Dr. Abraham Wikler has been my doctor for almost 15 years, my whole life, and everytime I've been in his office, I've gotten nothing but great service. The staff are all nice and the doctors actually know what

If I could give no stars I would. I've been going to Wikler for nearly 15 years. No matter what the nurses never seemed to have their files in order and it's full proof that no matter what time you make your appointment you'll be waiting

Dr Abraham has been my doctor and always prescribed my meds, now he says he won't unless I see a specialist. He knows I have no job, he says they go to UMC ER, well of course they will see me but then send a bill for $1900 and only week worth of meds and they tell you to follow up with yoru primary. Dr. Wikler has now put me in a spot that I will be in pain, won't be able to walk, to use my hands and he always told me, never go without, always call him, so now I call him and he refuses. What kind of doctor is he, he DOESN'T care. Please pass this on to others.

I have been a patient of Dr Eric's for a long time. I have never had a complaint until now. Back last July I had a kidney stone which didn't pass which caused an infection. When I went for my re-check Dr. Eric told me that the CT scan that was performed in the hospital showed a lung and liver nodule. He said that we should re-check them in 6 months time to see if they grew. A couple of weeks ago I went in for my CT scan to check the size of the nodules. The office never called to tell me the results and I had to call them constantly trying to get them. But that wasn't bad enough, when I was told the results, the CT scan showed abnormalties in my liver and they want me to re-take the CT scan again because apparently it was ordered for another abdomen CT ( which was already done in the hospital last July ). If the major concern was the liver, why wasn't a pelvis CT scan ordered instead of an abdomen? At first the staff at Wikler's made it sound like it was the radiologist fault for taking bad pictures. When I called the radiologist, they said that the pictures came out just fine and that the dr. ordered an abdomen CT scan so that's what was taken. I had to pay $700 co-pay because my insurance does not cover the entire thing, and now I have to pay another $700 because of this mistake. I am not a happy camper. I have always thought of Dr. Eric as a concerning and caring doctor. I have not yet spoken to him about this issue, but I plan to. I hope I don't need to find myself a new doctor because of this issue.

As for the staff, yes it is hard to get back phone calls from them or even get them to call for results. The office is extremely busy, so I understand but waiting for results and worrying the patient isn't going to do any good for their practice. I hope the office will read the comments here and take what their patients are saying to heart.

I will give them a chance, but it's not looking pretty good.

I made an appointment with Eric Wikler because he was recommended. I went to my appointment and waited for two hours for the staff to tell me I had no appointment with Mr. Wikler, but I had an appointment with a Nurse Practitioner. I was very sick so I kept the appointment and scheduled another appointment with Mr. Wikler and made it very clear I wanted a doctor and not an NP. I arrived and waited three hours, no joke a real and true three hours. I was called up to the front desk and was told that I didn??t have an appointment at all that day. I pulled out that little card and it did have my appointment time and date clearly written on the card. She told me that the person that made my appointment didn??t put it in their computer system. The rude girl got the manager and the manager said to me that unfortunately that there were no openings for me to come in today but I am welcomed to make another appointment with Dr. Wikler the following month since he was booked up till the following month. ??ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? I asked them why it took them 3 hours to let me know I didn??t have an appointment today and they manager told me that I should have called the day before to confirm my appointment. I HAVE UNDERLYING HEALTH PROBLEMS, INCLUDING CYSTIC FIBROSIS AND ASTHMA, I GOT VERY SICK WITH A FLU AND COULD NOT GET AN APPT WITH MY LUNG DOCTOR, SO I WAS INSTRUCTED BY MY LUNG DOCTOR TO GO TO MY REGULAR DOCTOR AND TO ASK FOR CERTAIN STANDARD DIAGNOSTIC TESTS TO BE DONE. I COULD NOT GET AN APPT WITH MY REGULAR DOCTOR, DAVID WIKLER, AND HAD TO SEE THE NEW P.A. JON NEUHARDT. HE REFUSED TO DO A THROAT CULTURE AND ACTED LIKE A THROAT CULTURE AND NASAL SWABBING IS THE SAME THING, WHICH IT ISNT, AND EVEN THOUGH I TOLD HIM I NEEDED THE THROAT CULTURE DONE PER MY LUNG SPECIALIST TO CHECK FOR CERTAIN TYPES OF INFECTIONS, HE REFUSED AND ONLY DID THE NASAL SWAB.
i HAD TO PLEAD WITH HIM TO DO A H1N1 TEST, AND FINALLY HE DID THE QUICK 15 MINUTE TEST, THE RESULT WAS NEGATIVE, AND COULD HAVE BEEN A FALSE NEGATIVE, BUT HE REFUSED TO SEND IT OUT FOR FURTHER TESTING BECAUSE HE INFORMED ME I "DIDNT LOOK SICK ENOUGH" TO HAVE H1N1. I also called on the 18th and had a very nasty girl make my appointment. She said test papers would be mailed to me and I had to get the tests done before the appointment. She was not happy that my phone number had changed, she was not happy that I asked questions and SHE NEVER mailed me the test papers!!. I called on the 24th since I had not gotten the papers - this different woman seems nice and professional - I hope she can fix this .. but i am doubtfull, angry and hurt. I am sure the nonmailing of the test forms was a set up to insure that I could not get the tests done in time for the appointment that I had her schedule BEFORE she wanted to.

When I FiNALLY got to make a required follow up appointment they acted like they were doing me a favor - I was afraid to complain - as it was the girl hung up on me without even saying goodbye after the appointment was made - When I went for the appointment and I complained to Linda the PA - she acted like I was making it up !

I agree 100% with the other reviews. My mom was in the hospital. When she got out, she was to follow up with her "doctor" in 3-5 days. We called numerous times to get her in, left messages, never received return phone calls. She subsequently died. They DO NOT care about their patients. Dr. Wikler wouldn't even give a referral to a specialist. What kind of doctor won't give a referral to a specialist when it's asked for? Dr. Wikler, that's who. I beg you, for the life of your or your loved ones, do not go to this doctor....

the staff is extremely rud! horrible we dont even like having to go into this office...
no one in this office has any compassion for there patiants.
instead of offering refills on our mandatory prescriptions the give no refills .
every month we have to wait for them to fax approval to refill our prescriptions and it takes about 2 weeks for the pharmacist to get ahold of them. then when we call there rud to us.
do your job and you wont have upset patiants calling you.
i dont belive this dr even knows what hes doing my husband was on mediation for 4 yrs and has been doing really well with it. when we started seeing dr wikler he told my husband he dont need them. after arguing with him and having to see a specialist he finaly gave them to him. this place is a joke. we will be switching drs very soon.

your staff is what makes your office pleasnt for your patiants dr wickler . if you were truely in the medical field to help people fire your staff and start showing some compassion twords the people you clam to care for!!!!

I have been going to Wikler Family Practice for quite some time I have seen all the doctors there and the
PA Linda. They are all wonderful. Its true they are a very busy office but no mater what I need they take care of it. If I need prescriptions no problem if they have the samples of one of my medications they give them to me to help me due to cost. Also I have talked such kind wonderful careing staff on the phone. They are always going full force to make sure I get what what I need. I have watch these girls when I come in and those phones of theirs just done stop ringing and amoung makeing sure that we the patients are getting handle that are there. Stop for a moment and think about this would you rather go to the urgent care? I think the ones that have such negative attitudes on this review are just being bitter and expect to much . The wait time is never long if Iam sick they get me in the same day try that with some of these other docs in this town I have and let me tell you . I think Wikler Family Practice is the best choice I could have ever made to start going there and I have lived here for a while. So all you out there that dont think their staff is nice or you dont get enough time with the doctors or a fast enough respones shame on you for your negative attitudes lighten up and live .

Cons: NONE IN MY EYES

I just read the reviews and it appears that most of the issues are with office staff. Well, welcome to Las Vegas. This is just how customer service is in Vegas. When I pick a doctor I am more interested in the doctor and his/her bedside manner. I have been seeing Linda Rosenberg and she is fabulous. I had issues that I had mentioned to other doctors in the past that were down played by them. Linda really listened and got me with specialists instead of just trying stuff out! I am finally feeling better and more healthy and I think it is because of her. I highly recommend her! Is the office staff great, not really, but they aren't the worst either. I say don't sweat the small stuff and focus on what is important, the care your DOCTOR gives you.

By the way I have never had to wait for very long and if you really don't want to wait at all, schedule your appointments for the first of the day if possible. You get in and out much faster and you still get the attention to your problems.

This practice treats their patients like cattle. Herd you in and out as fast as they can, charge your insurance as much as they can, find out as little as possible about your medical condition, and fail to provide even the most basic level of care.

Be sure to check records often as I am sure it is only a matter of time before these guys are found guilty of criminal mal practice.

the doctors are great but the staff has to go!!!! at one time great staff was available, now everyone is new and they are very lazy, rude, never get to you on time and they are always smoking!!! i dont know why better staff is hired along with new managment, it is managment who hired the lazy bunch!!! the doctors are great doctors but they need to open their eyes and get rid of managment, who let good staff either quit or go, and hire staff that actually works, tend to patients on time, quick, and kind!!!!

This practice has developed a completely unique approach to medicine. It consists of a brief meeting with a PA followed by a complete lack of follow-up. Add to this procedure when a patient contacts the practice to discuss an absence of effectiveness in treatment, they will completely ignore you. I contacted the practice 4 times over 2 days trying to get some answers and did not receive a single call back. If you have the audacity to continue to contact them, the consistent answer if you can get them on the phone is that the doctor is reviewing the file and a nurse will get back to you... which never happens. If you are looking for a treatment approach that is low-risk, their approach of offering nothing may be the way to go. After all, if they ignore you it is impossible to expect adequate treatment.

I have been a patient of Wikler Family Practive since 1995. Over the years I have received excellent care. The doctor works by appointment only, so they rarely get behind. I have been going to Dr. David Wikler for three years. I switched to him after another Practice was so bad. I am very happy with the medical care I have received. I especially appreciate the fact that Dr. D does not grab his prescription pad every time I have a complaint. This is a very busy office so patience is needed; however, they have always been very professional.

I highly recommend them.

My family and I were patients of this practice for 2 years after moving Las Vegas. After 2 years I lost my medical coverage after becoming disabled, and one of my visits that was billed to the insurance company was not paid. I was billed in full for the visit. That was fine. I asked them to resubmit to my new medical through the state being that I was permantley disabled now. I did not hear anything back for over a month. I was scheduled a regular check up as I have HypoThyroid and take daily meds for it, so I went in as usual for my appt. I was taken in the Office Managers office, where she told me I had to pay for the amount that hadn't been covered by my insurance ($75) for my other visit in full right then, or I could not see the doctor. I begged for a paymt plan, or other resolution. She gave me no options or consideration for my situation of being on disability. She would not even give me a new prescription for the daily medication I NEED as my prescription had run out. I asked why she didnt call me before I came in that day to tell me there was a problem, said she didnt have to! Left there, and she called me a month later telling me to make pymt in full or she will send to collections, and that my unfortunate situation of becoming disabled was not her problem, I had a bill and I needed to pay it. This woman had me in tears. Im a single mom, living on $700 a month now, and she did not even care. Any respectable practice would have AT LEAST given me a prescription for the medication that my health depends on. And after being a patient for 2 years, they could have reduced the amount for me. I have paid the bill since then. But my entire family goes to a new practice now. I realize this was the Office Manager, not the doctor, but to me, the office staff plays a big role in a practice, especially when they are the ones deciding whether they will let you will see your doctor or not.
