I had terrible pain in my elbow. i had little hope for a speedy recovery. Dr. Holland, after reviewing the exray, gave me the results with a choice of options as to what I can do to eliminate the pain and do what is necessary to keep it from happening again. He spent the time necessary to answer my questions with complete attention to my concerns. The end result is a pain free elbow and happy patient.

Went to office with broken hand. Dr. Holland yanked finger into place with no pain medicine (he told me he did not have time to wait for pain medication to set in) Put on a tight cast immediatly. He ignored numerous telephone calls I made to his office regarding swelling and extreme pain. I was told this was normal. In the end my hand is permanently disabled. Numerous "hand specialists" told me (after the fact) that my hand required immediate surgery to place bones back into place. (my finger now bends in wrong direction). I was also told that I was put in the wrong type of cast for this break and they should have allowed it time to swell before putting on the cast because now there is nerve damage. It took 8 months of physical therapy before I could bend my fingers and almost four years later I still can not make a fist. If you break your hand see only a true hand specialist. .
