My son has a complex number of issues going on, and Dr. Goldman was the first physician to do a thorough evaluation. By doing so we have improved many things in our family's lives and our son is doing much better. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Dr. Goldman is a wonderful doctor. I am so glad to hear the postive feedback. He was my doctor many years ago when he was still doing his residency and then beginning in private practice. I cannot begin to tell you how much he helped me. And, yes, he ran late back then, too. But it was always worth the wait and something I learned to work with.

I have been attending to Dr. Goldman's office for about 7 years. He runs late, unless it is I who is in office... then, to me he is a fabulous doctor. Once I go into his office, he is very warm, friendly, talks to me and writes down the details of my concerns. In my opinion, he is the best Psychiatrist in DFW area (I have have been to a bunch). Since we are dealing with emotions with roots in the brain where he cannot just make an X-Ray and see the problem, Dr. Goldman must take the time to question patients some of whom may be disoriented and not able to answer clearly or to the point, dig into the patients' answers looking for more clues into his/her illness, and then make recommendations. If you are the parent of a patient, or a patient yourself, you will appreciate taking whatever time it might take for Dr. Goldman to give the best diagnosis and follow up possible. I cannot imagine someone putting a "price" on a well-thought out and a clear diagnosis on a complex health problem a patient may have. To me, it is worthy to take a day off from work every 2 months, and see my favorite doctor who greets me as if I were a friend and treats my illness with a careful evaluation. I can only add that I only owe him my personal well-being and a stable life, so waiting for him does not appear to be that important on my priority list...! The ones who care more about time rather than substance, should not go to Dr. Goldman, but use a Psychiatrist serving clients through a drive-in window!!!

Dr. Goldman may run late for appointments as stated by the last reviewer, but obviously this reviewer has never had a real issue that needed his attention. He is phenomenal and laid back and brilliant to boot.

Dr G , as he is affectionately known in adolescent psychiatry circles has excellent diagnostic and pharamceutical skills. BUT he is always running late ! He has been up to 1 1/2 hrs late for an appt ....How much is MY time worth ? Enough to switch doctors !

PROS: excellent pharmaceutical knowledge
CONS: office hours, always late
