I found Dr. Jack Wilson by the way of referral after a bad experience with a local dentist practice, and it has been the best dental move I've made. He is so personable and such a great dentist. He's up front and it tells you exactly what you need. His office staff are also awesome people. I've been a patient for a few years now and I can't say enough about this practice! My husband is a patient of Dr. Eric Wilson, and I have referred many to this practice. It's just a great place to come for your dental care!

Very comfortable and pleasant experience. Dr. Eric is always cheerful and explains all procedures to me in terms that are easily understood.

I chose these doctors because they do not like lateness. I am usually walking in the office 15 minutes early and many times get into the chair early as well. I am guessing that some of these posts of people who had to reschedule have been what has afforded me the earlier slot and extra time to really discuss options. Dr. Eric has never suggested anything over what is really needed. Both doctors are great at what they do and their assistants work very well with them.

The office staff have always been kind and sympathetic when needed. I appreciate that they are willing to take the heat for making sure that each patient gets in to see the doctor at the correct time and are not left waiting because someone else was late. If I have ever had to wait, it was because something came up while the dentist was working on another patient that HAD to be taken care of. I don't mind that at all as I would hope for the same level of care.

If you are looking for a caring dentist who considers your time to be as valuable as his own or the next patient these are your guys! If you want a dentist who doesn't mind you running late and throwing his whole day off, you will have to look elsewhere. This office keeps a tight schedule and that is definitely something I can appreciate.

My dentist passed away five years ago and I did not wish to use his partner. I have been looking for a dentist that English is his/her first language and who wishes to be partners in my and my family's dental care. As I looked on line I found the above reviews. I believe that most of the people complaining are ones that were late (regardless of how much), BUT I too have been known to be late (having 6 children sometimes makes that happen). The few times I was late (over 10 years), the office would be gratious and tell me that I need to be on time. I certainly understand their reasoning. If you expect the dentist to be there for you, you have to be on time, but even more than anything else, I have to be able to deal with office personnel that has tact and is not rude. As much as I would love to go to these dentists, I would not make it past the first day in their office. I do not like to be patronized but I certainly do not like someone to make a smart remark in front of me or to me. It is a partnership and too personal to be vulnerable to people who are rude. Perhaps they have been there too long. I want professional and yet hometown. Does this exist?

I made an appt for 7:00 am so that I didn't have to miss any work. There were 4 girls in the office before I got there and they were all cheerful and smiling. I arrived 5 minutes before my appt,, filled out the paperwork, and was done and on my way to work by 7:30 am. No problems at all. They said they wiould file my insurance and I didn't need to do anything else. I guess every person will have their own experiences. I am always on time, so it's nice to know that other people are too.

Office staff is not friendly. I love both of the denists. Jack and Eric are both awesome. I have been several times, and always found the front staff to be a little rude, but today was real bad. As others have stated, I was running a little late. I mean I walked in at 1:06. The lady at the window was fine at first and was going to sign me in. Then the older lady in the back said no, he is late and then they preceded to tell me thy I was almost 15 minutes late. I have never seen someone be as rude as she was for no reason. They lost more than 4 clients today, as me, my family, and anyone who asks me, will not go to them. Sorry Jack and Eric.

I agree with the many reviews that say that the office staff is rude. I like both of the dentists, but I think they need to hire a new office group. The females who work (or stand) there visit with eachother instead of helping patients. They were rude to me when I asked for help. One rolled her eyes when helping me making follow up appointments. I was a complete inconvience to her because she had to stop chatting. The older lady is ALWAYS hateful to my family when we go there. I know he likes his office staff personally. I wish Dr. Jack would lay down the law and tell the females to just treat people the way they would want to be treated. We expect our children to do that but not the workers?????? It is a shame that the 2 great dentists loose patients because of these women.

I think both of the Dr. Wilson's are great. My family went to him for a few years. We also dealt with the "rude" front office people, more than 80% of the time. They always seem confrontational and unwilling to help. Any question I have asked, usually gets a "roll of the eyes" or a scoff that they may actually "have to work" The front office seems to stand around more than anything. I have 5 people in my family, and we have all observed this. We truly enjoyed both Dentists, but have left the practice. I asked the Office manager to have Jack or Eric call me, at his convenience, so that I could share my feelings and why my family was leaving. She said she "would try" I received a letter a few days later, signed by both Dentist, saying that since there was a conflict, I should find another dentist. Neither returned my call. I am going to try to send a letter, as I am sure they did not get the facts. The front office seems to run "the show". As nice as the dentists are, they need to get control of their "business" I just found this website, I knew I could NOT be the "ONLY ONE"

I'm sorry other people have had bad experiences, but late patients back up the schedule for the rest of us. I believe it's a good policy. I've always liked the staff and always loved Dr. Eric and Dr. Jack (his father). Most kids dread going to the dentist, but Dr. Eric talks just as easily on my daughter's level as mine, making him a person she can't wait to see. Dr. Jack always visits with his son's patients and makes sure we know how appreciated we are. They have a small town feel with big city convenience.

I love Dr. Eric M. Wilson and his father Jack. They are both very friendly and personable and Dr. Eric Wilson is an extremely competent dentist. However; some of the staff and perhaps the office policy leaves alot to be desired. On March 26th, I had a very disturbing experience when I was scheduled for a root canal. As I walked in the office, I saw someone walk swiftly to the back. The young lady at the desk said, "We were wondering about you?" I replied that I wasn't certain if it was 10:20 or 10:30. She said it was 10:20. The other receptionist came from the back and said "You will have to reschedule. You are 10 minutes late." Then about the same time the dental assistant came up and said, "Terri you are 10 minutes late and we needed all of that time to do your procedure. You will have to reschedule. I'm sorry. I was speechless. I had taken time off and had rearranged other events to accomodate this appointment, which I was informed was a cancellation. My total day was wasted, not to mention the fee that I'm sure I will be charged. It would be understandable if we as patient's never had to wait to be called back to the examination room. Maybe if we started deducting fees for every minute that they are behind there would be a little consideration given to traffic and other human factors that contribute to late arrivals. At my next appointment I intend to make Dr. Wilson aware of this website and of my personal opinion regarding the policy. I just know he couldn't be aware of how it may be affecting his business. I also will be deducting from my no show charges if I have to wait anytime past my scheduled appointment.

I love the fact that this office is so efficient, I disagree with the previous posts, this office understands that people work and they know a persons time is precious, they never keep you in for an insane amount of time and always see you, or are waiting for you when you get there and immediately take you back. I felt like I was a visitor in there home rather than patient in a dental office. The staff was great, totally efficient and very pleasant. I will continue referring everyone I know to this Father/Son office.

I had a similar encounter as the previous poster. I was running late to my appointment because I am human and I have kids to drop off. I pulled into the parking lot at 8:37 by my cell phone (which is from OFFICIAL TIME). So I walked in, I parked right in front. I walk in, and start filling out the sign in sheet. I hear a whisper "She's late". Then the older lady proceeds to tell me I am late and I need to reschedule. The younger lady says I am almost 15 minutes late. I said, no, I am only 10 minutes late. They (there are about 3 people just standing around) and argue with me that I have to reschedule. Well, I look at my CELL PHONE again and it's only 8:40. I ripped my sign in sheet of the pad and crumbled it up and walked out. They lost 4 patients today, me and my whole family.

One other thing that bothered me is that I had to come in 3 different times for my first set of stuff that had to be done. 1st was intial visit, 2nd was X-Rays and cleaning, 3rd was for my filling. They could have easily combined 2 or more in a visit. I overlooked that because he was nice, but with a staff like that forget it! Too many other dentists in town.

PROS: Dr Wilson is very nice, reminds me of Woody Harelson
CONS: Office staff is rude, policy is stupid

My first encounter with Eric Wilson was very good, he is really funny and nice. However my second encounter was not so good.I was running 15 min. late to an appt. One of the young ladies was going to let me check in then the older lady said I was 15 min late and I would have to reschedule. I was never informed that this was there policy. As I told the lady I did not know that. Do you think she cared?NO, I drove 35 min. away for something I was not aware of, no where in there office is this policy stated in plain view.
Then the asst. came to get me and as she was walking the older lady gestured no and she stopped and walked away real fast as if I did not notice. I think that this is very poor customer service, and not away to deal with new Clients. Being the kind of person I think Eric is he would not like this.
I will stop seeing Mr. Wilson because of this, his staff should take a course in customer service!

PROS: Mr. Wilson is very nice
CONS: The front office staff is rude

My Mom is an Alzheimer's patient and she resides at an assisted living center near Dr. Eric's office. She was complaining of mouth pain and her usual dentist is over 50 miles away from where she currently resides.

Dr. Eric was referred by Mom's insurance. All the staff was courteous and patient. Dr. Eric diagnosed Mom's condtion and gave her a perscription because she had a mouth infection.

He's a great guy. So great, I'm going to make him MY dentist.

PROS: Kind and gentle
