Keep searching for another dentist! This office has old equipment that has not been maintained. They also use clear trash bags to cover their chair equipment which really looks unprofessional. The worst part is Dr. Young Park is not a very good dentist. He either doesn't know his stuff or just dishonest, recommending unnecessary work.

I went in for a cleaning and xrays looked good. He later proceeded to find a pin head sized void in the transition between a white filling and the tooth surface back on one of my molars. It looks fine in the x-ray, but as he picked at, he said it was a cavity. They even said they could see darkness in the tooth which was further evidence of decay. He compared it to an apple where a pin hole in the skin and you find the apple rotting beneath. So, I made an appointment to come back to have my "cavity" fixed.

I left with a "bad vibe" and went to another dentist for a second opinion later that week. I was informed by my new dentist that yes there was a small void, but as she felt the spot with her metal pick the same way Dr. Park has, she said it did not feel sticky at all which would be the first sign of decay. She said it didn't need fixing, but that it was up to me. I appreciated her honest opinion. In the end, I was so paranoid about it, I had her do it anyway. She found no decay, but I felt better.

I would never go back to Dr. Young Park and don't recommend you do either. There are too many other good, honest dentist out there to go to Dr. Young Park.
