What is an Organization's Tax ID Number?

For an organization, this is your organization's Employer Identification Number (EIN).

(Note- Insider Pages is currently only accepting fundraiser applications from organizations with an EIN number.)

Why do we ask for this?

We need to have this information in our accounting files, since we are paying your organization at the end of the fundraiser

What if I don't know my organization's EIN?

If you don't know, perhaps someone else in your organization, like its President, Accountant, Secretary or someone who handles receiving income and/or making payments will have this available for you.

What if our organization doesn't have an EIN?

You can get one from the IRS, either online at www.irs.gov (click on "Forms and Publications" then Form SS-4), or by calling them at (866) 816-2065.

Do I have to fill in a form to start the Insider Pages fundraiser?

You may be familiar with the IRS Form W-9, other companies paying you may ask for the form. We try to make it easy to start an Insider Pages Fundraiser, so you can enter all the information directly into the website rather than filling in a form. If you want more information, you can click the link to open up a copy of the IRS Form W-9 and read their instructions.
