Maximize Your Groups's Fundraiser!
Of all the Religious Groups that have participated in Insider Pages Fundraisers, a few have stood out from the rest. By following a few suggestions we have learned from these groups, your group can maximize your Fundraiser's proceeds.
Tips From Successful Religious Group Fundraisers:
- Set your start date two weeks out to allow time to promote your Fundraiser to your group before the Fundraiser begins
- Announce the Fundraiser at services
- Distribute flyers after services and group meetings and Talk it Up!
- Post the link to your Fundraiser on your group's website and newsletters
- Invite supporters, friends and family from around the country to participate. Anyone over 18 can participate
- Email reminders to your group members, message boards, distribution lists, etc. before and during your Fundraiser
- Divide your group into teams to encourage competition
- Encourage your participants to post photos in their profile
- Send a press release, using the template we will provide, to your local newspapers or other media outlets
- Offer an incentive to the participant or team with the most reviews (e.g. a gift certificate)
