This little colorful cuban diner is a favorite of the locals. I loved the plantains with banana sauce and the fruit smoothies. The shredded beef was excellent along with the creole shrimp. I thought the meals were a little pricey. But the ambience, customer service & entrees were very delicious. The space is limited so you do have a wait, but I thought it was worth the wait and the $$$. A great variety of deserts, LeLeche cake was my favorite.
Green Thumb is my favorite nursery in Santa Clarita. Customer Service at it's best. They are always there to answer my questions and to offer suggestions on the right plants or trees. And the quality of plants and trees are premium. I would recommend over Loews & HomeDepot any day! I recently purchased a variety of colorful plants and flowers for whiskey barrels in my back yard at the recommendation of Green Thumb. I love the creeping Petunias - they are very durable.
I really like this store - it has some interesting furnature pieces. I bought two different style desks; one for a craft room the other for family room, and the price was under $200 each. I like the fact that they change out their inventory and always have new items coming in. They also have a wide variety of wines.
CONS: If you see something you like, you had better buy it, they don't restock
The food is real down home town cooking. The portions are huge so come with your appetite. Sunday's you will have to wait, but the wait is worth it. The cost if very affordable. The ambiance is early 70s. It is one of the original restaurants in this valley. Old and quaint inside. I recommend the country fried potatos.
This is the second Chi Chi's Pizza in the Santa Clarita Valley. The food is wonderful. Our favorite pizza is Chi Chi's Choice made of sweet cheese and sausage and peppers. Both restaurants offer the same menu and specials. The decor at this one is a little newer. They offer scrumpsious specials at very affordable prices.
The Ritz Spa Package was a real treat for my husband's 60th birthday. Every employee there treats you like royalty. The room was fantastic - very classy and VERY pricey. After our massage's they delivered a glass of wine and chocolate dipped strawberries to us in the spa. The gym was the best gym I have seen in a hotel. GREAT equipment with the latest technology. This package included breakfast on the Terrace which was also top of the line with a nice view of the pool. The hotel is currently in middle of some remodeling, just a minor distraction, however when they are finished will just add all that more to the ambience of the hotel.
CONS: No coffee service in the room for a deluxe room, we were disappointed
Dinner at the Cheesecake factory was OK. My meal was the salmon - very tasty! My husband's dinner, was a chicken brochette - not so good. But the LeLeche Carmel cheesecake was the best! Busy for a Monday night - but we were very pleased with the service. I would still recommend this restaurant as they have a huge variety to choose from. And of couse - who can say anything bad about their cheesecake.
This is the best steakhouse in California. The food is out of this world. They cater to small as well as large groups. But call ahead - they are always busy. It is expensive $$$$$. The service is top notch and the ambiance is soft lighting in the evening . I would recommend the crab stuffed mushrooms and you can't go wrong with any of the steaks. If you are looking for hugs portions, you might want to try the Cowboy Ribeye. And of course you can't leave without trying dessert...my favorite is the creamy homemade cheesecake with berries. This is an excellent place to take a loved one or a business lunch or dinner.
Robek's offers a variety of smoothies & juices. Refreshing and healthy.
I love this restaurant. The ambiance is nice. The garlic fragrance as you walk in the door is just yummy. Try the shitake mushroom panini. mmmm good! The service is friendly and quick.
